I'm sure it was a split second decision.

Why subjecting themselves to these mockery and foolishness when this present scenario is just for a while. God is a patient God who instructs patience with the constituted authority. We will soon have everytime in the world to open our religious centers, for now lets abide by the rules.

Crap bul sh*it. I hate it when peoples right are trampled upon. The pastors and others needs to understand their rights under the law and dont shiver when these local law enforcers accost them. Currently in Nigeria, there is no part of the constitution that explicitly defines the purnishment for covid-19 lockdown violation, as far as we are concerned its a misdemeanor because any strict law against people's movement will be contravening the fundamental rights.

Na wa. This is so embarrassing. They fear ordinary men and not God. I like what that mobile police officer told them. Is it not better to be sanctioned quietly than have their members, friends and well wishers see this awkward video.

If Judas can deny Jesus Christ, who then are these pastors.

The honourable thing for him to have done was to acknowledge their mistake and apologize.

The worst will be a fine and maybe some sanctions, and if you have some good cash, nothing will happen after the "video show"

Judas did not deny Jesus. Which bible wey you dey read?

Watch the video before making comments. The Pastor who brought them to the mountain did not deny the people he brought. It was a Colonels birthday, obviously they came to pray and celebrate with him.

It was the prayer mountain custodians who deny the people who came to their mountain for prayers. They said they have warned people from coming yet people kept coming in hundreds every week, especially the catholic people.

There is nothing the devil [masquerading under the guise of social media] has not tried against the church, its people and the members. Despite the massive showing of the church in Nigeria in this pandemic, we cannot appease the devil and his cohorts, for you can not appease the devil. They wait here like it pays them to prey on Christianity by their leaders, but they shall continue to fail in Jesus' name.
However, we take solace in the word of God: 2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

I'm angry at the embarrassment the pastors caused themselves. It's more honorable for them to have admitted gathering the flock than to brazenly tell lies and allow those men burst and shame them. How do they think their members would perceive them from now henceforth.

Highest they charge them before a mobile court, pay fine or do community service or both.

Those 'pastors' should genuinely seek repentance.

Members that have failed to use their heads and have been brainwashed with no hope to be saved soon.

Trust their man of god to tell them he did as he was directed by the holy spirit.
