The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide Bishop David Oyedepo is is said to be paying the workers under his watch according to the latest findings despite them not active due to the effect of the coronavirus pandemic in the last two months.

Under the administrative and leadership of Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo is Living Faith Church also known as Winners' Chapel International network of churches which is located in over 300 cities, in all states of Nigeria, and in several cities in 45 African nations, Dubai , the United Kingdom and the United States .

Oyedepo has been seen as one of the pioneers of the Christian charismatic movement in Africa and has been referred to as one of the most powerful preachers in Nigeria. He is also the Chancellor of the best University in West Africa Covenant University and also Landmark University.

David Oyedepo has kept to contractual agreement with thousands of Pastors on the megachurch payroll even with services not conducted in various branches and the lecturers, teachers and other workers of Landmark University, Covenant University, Faith Academy and Kingdom Heritage Model School are also receiving their wages despite the closure of schools doors Nationwide.

The 65-year-old who has been in the news for criticising the decision of the Federal and States Governments for continuously putting the religious worship centres under lockdown leaving the markets active with the quote "Church is more orderly than the market" is the richest pastor according to the Forbes rating in 2011 with US$150 million as net worth.
Recall that during the last annual Shiloh in December 2019, Bishop David Oyedepo mentioned the planting of over 5000 churches in the past calendar year.

"This year(2019) we employed 6000 new staff and automatically, nearly N300 million Naira ($835,000) monthly wage bill unbudgeted for was added to our expenditure. This was despite the fact that we only received the instruction to plant 5,000 churches from God in January 2019 whereas we had already passed and approved our 2019 budget since November 2018.
"The result of the 5,082 churches planted within 5 months was that 200,000 Villagers were able to get connected and join us during Shiloh 2019. We have not gone red throughout 2019.

"How do you get 6,000 staff, added to you after screening (and screening), nearly about 11,000 people applied. He added them to His wage bill by Himself and He paid them all; He's been paying them ever since. Glory be to God: We owe God thanks.
"The growth of the end time Church cannot deliver without financial resources. We are celebrating access to resources. God commanded us to establish 5,000 churches so he is the one to pay them." He concluded

When men claim to hear from God, I'm always confused especially when the purported statement from God is not direct.

For example, pastor Adeboye will tell his congregation that 'God says there is someone here who suffers back pain, daddy said you will be healed to night'. I always ask, who is the person? Give a name!!!!

Other companies that are still paying staff are not shouting it.

This coronavirus is exposing these men of God as nothing but self-centred capitalists
