But ASUU has never been paid using bvn. Infact when they were asked to fill a form regarding bvn, they outrightly refused. That was after the president ordered the accountant to pay them their salaries. The accounts office brought the bvn issue and ASUU as a body refused. The reason you see this confusion regardless of IPPIS or bvn payment is that a different payment platform was used as against what was used before. And ASUU clearly did not have a hand in the process. It is strictly between the bursary of universities and the accountant office. ASUU only pointed out the embarrassing payment to dead Members
Oh!! So why did they now pay them when they refused submitting their BVN. The agf's office has questions to answer too. What is obvious is they got the payroll from the schools.

Do you really understand that tweet? Look around. You're being educated right, left and centre. When will you let the education sink in? Or are you paid to remain unintelligent?

For a lecturer who has failed basic integrity test and obviously cannot intelligibly defend the fraudulent conduct of shameless Lecturers in cahoot with school mgt, the question should be directed to you and your cohorts, are you paid who to defend fraud and impart illiteracy in the Society?

Why are you cheating the entire country of its due tax, while advocating Government increase subventions to you?
Who administered the integrity test. You who can't understand issues or Stephen who is confusing you. It is interesting that Stephen has become your source of knowledge all of a sudden because his narrative suits your purpose. It reflects poorly on you.
The average ASUU member gets his tax deducted from source which you should know if you know anything at all. He is neither an accountant nor a tax consultant. He is a victim as the FG is in the mismanagement by the university mgt whom you and the FG are seemingly afraid to take on.
From the level of iq you have exhibited so far, it provides veritable justification for more subvention to the education system.... That's if you know what I mean.

They strike year in year out and destroy the future of many, yet they still end up imparting illiteracy and building cold rooms
I really apologise for your illiteracy. It's ok. I can somewhat understand if you blame ASUU for that. They shouldn't have let one slip so easily. It's an indelible mark.
As for the cold room. Shame indeed. But it exists in almost every corner of the society both highest and lowest including the most pious. That's not the topic of discussion though. Let's focus. Focus is not taught in universities. You really can't blame ASUU for your lack in that regard.

please lets get it clear. ASUU is not in charge of payroll. The fraud in universities is perpetuated by the university management or the v.c and bursary units. if this strike is called off, there is going to be another major strike. this time between the school management and the various unions. it has already started in u.i.
then they should have put their house in order before battling the FG on ipps, now its obvious that they were trying to hide or cover the fraud they have been perpetuating.

From school, not from ASUU. And that is why you see those errors. ASUU did not involved themselves in the payment process, it was between the school admin and accountant office

Of course it's from the schools. Same school mgt that have ghost workers and illegal staff. You see why I said OAGF has some questions to answer too.

It is not the responsibility of lecturers to submit such names. Lecturers only teach in the class. That is why every university have bursary department. The school bursar submitted the names to accountant general office. On the issue tax deduction, university staffs have being paying tax before now, their complain is about the sudden increase in tax deduction with the introduction of IPPIS. This has lead to reduction in net pay despite the fact that FG claim that they have started implementing the new minimum wage increase. Another deduction is the National Housing tax which workers were not allowed to decide if they want to join or not. No agreement, no information about the National Housing, no one knows where and when the houses will be built, they just continue deducting it from peoples' salaries.

ASUU Staff have been tax, but were not paying the correct amount. NHF is mandatory for all Nigerian workers.

you are a scam

funmike83:
Ippis is a scam . I don't know why they are centralising everything when the schools can be responsible for themselves. They are are shouting TSA upandan only for us to hear that they never audited this account ever since they strted and lots of fraud going on . they should expect more of this since Ippis can not distinguish the living from the dead.

You don't still get me. Ok let me make simple for you. Try engaging someone you know very well that works in the university. He will give you a better explanation. You will be amazed at the level of corruption being perpetuated there.

Use your head oga. Does ASUU send list of University staff that should be paid salaries? Academic staff lecture, they're not in charge of Bursary. Moreover, why not make a case against the offenders (University administration) rather blame classroom lecturers?
be constructive in your manner of correcting someone .If you think you are making any sense tell me if any of both ASSU and university administration supported IPPIS enrolment before ?

The salaries were not paid on the platform.
If that be the case it means dead people have been salaries by OFAG for time now.
