jesmond3945: Very bad. However, the issue should be about the salary structure and not IPPIS. IPPIS is just a payroll software. ASUU can fight for better pay instead of fighting against the payroll software. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The first case I had to appear as a witness for the EFCC was a case involving padding of ghost workers salary by a firm. I fear who no fear this country. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Decibel:SMH for this country, only God will see and help this nation. A country where someone does nothing, yet get paid(multiple times). Meanwhile, the real workers are being owed. Those willing to commit themselves in honesty are sitting at home, jobless and wallowing in starvation. The innocent students of the country are suffering and receiving inadequate education; whereas, the children of these heartless lecturers (ASUU) are scattered in different countries, boasting of grades (1st class) and posting on social media just to intimidate and make their counterparts in the country feel inferior. rotadeco27: 2 Likes 1 Share |

I was suspended from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike in August 2017.. But since then I have not received any salary but my pension account is being credited till date On January this year I applied for pension account statement and I couldn't believe that FG has been paying us salary but the VC is diverting it to his personal account We are about 800 staff that were suspended.. On this month some of us sent our staff numbers, bvn, and other things required by FG , low and behold we were paid 2months salaries 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Blue3k:with all this grammar you are blowing, there are no enough lecturers in the university system. Why is the government not employing the so many talents roaming the street? Let them start from there first. Some comments here give an insight of how incapable some people will be, given Buhari's position |

jesmond3945: Your ability to monetize your knowledge does not stop at those functions. Carry out research and make patents. Write books and papers that would add to the body of knowledge and by so doing increasing your networth. Give talks and create YouTube channels if you consider yourself an expert. 350k is not the limit to your ability. 1 Like 1 Share |

zikter: Who told you there's a shortage of university lecturers? I haven't seen any report claiming this. If there's a shortage schools would hirer real lecturers instead of paying ghost. Lol you're making erroneous statements because you can't defend your rights arguement. Lol you'd be weak like Buhari always complaining but you dont see audits or prosecutions. The government job isnt to hire everyone. They need to improve their economic policies so private sector hires these unemployed people. Nigeria already spends too much on recurrent expenditures. |

GavelSlam:you have not answered my question. You don't know what it takes to reach there. All those things you listed is the least of what it takes to be a Prof. If govt feels that 350k is what a Prof deserves in Nigeria then say by bye to education. |

seunmsg:yea because the software is controlled by high level fraudsters. This is the death of education. So if I am a prof my course rep who just graduated would be earning more than me because he is working in DPR or NNPC? |

seunmsg:the best is for the university is to be autonomous. Let them charge high fees especially for post graduate study. Then govt can give their support. Lecturers will now be paid from igr but university igr is domiciled in TSA. You see how wicked govt is. |

Blue3k: Stop being an idiot.. You don't have the requisite experience to replace the senior lecturers and Profs in the employ of the Federal universities.... To you, medical consultants should no longer be recruited to tutor medical students, cos they are comfortably employed in the hospitals.. You did rant they be sacked to recruit who? You. A fresh PhD needs at least 3 years research experience to tutor postgraduate students... To idiots online, Seasoned professionals should be sacked for clowns to be recruited. Lecturers are not the reason for the high employment rate in Nigeria. Study hard, perhaps you could be considered. On a sad note to some you... Proponents of IPPIS has come to understand that Sabbaticals and Adjunct lecturing is here to stay... No rants can change that... 1 Like

I feel the best thing is that the IPPS should be applied but the accountant of the university should be given a payroll in line with all the ancillary works like sabbatical, script marking, electioneering participation etc to be double sign by the accountant of the university,V.C and the concerned staff which will be sent by email to IPPIS data system and be paid included in the following month basic salary. My people what do you think. The Judiciary ,legislature, the executive arm of government too should be included in the ippis scheme(local government budget inclusive). |

Blue3k:Please google is always available for this kind of things. Just google the subject. More over, try to read about ASUU issues with the IPPIS system before swallowing anything whole from the government. What of numerous complaints those already on the system are bringing out. Moreso, how do you sack an entire work force as you claim and still sustain the sector? It implies you are even worst than the Buhari you are castigating 1 Like |

jesmond3945: I hope you know the implication of what you’re suggesting? How many families in Nigeria can afford to pay the kind of school fees paid in Covenant, Afe Babalola university etc? What you’re suggesting will simply deny children of poor parents university education. |
Re: IPPIS: Joe Abah On "How Ghost Workers Exist In Public Institutions" by Blue3k(m): 3:19pm On May 19, 2020 |
Lol mumu stop rambling nonsense. You're making strawman arguements because you're too dumb to argue point I made. If you dont register for IPPIS you can be fired end of story. The government didnt say adjuncts and sabbatical arent allowed like you're foolishly pretending. On payment to sabbatical and adjunct lecturers, the official said these categories of lecturers are duly recognised by IPPIS. [s] jmaine:[/s] 2 Likes |

Blue3k: Continue existing in a fools paradise.... You think it's easy to sack/punish Union members due to labour conflicts? When the acts establishing labour unions in Nigeria forbids such. It's akin to folks screaming seasoned Military Generals and top officers be sacked to recruit idiots baying for blood online... Your points were baseless and stupid... |

Politicians eh! They keep arranging civil servants money, but their own is untouchable. At the end, they won't still pay retirement, but will carry billions of naira as there own. |

Bolustical:Many of you folks lack an understanding of the underground battle going on and not the media propaganda the fg is promoting. These folks don't mean well for the masses, the earlier we decode, the better. Most of our institutions are dead and they are ready to destroy the public universities that are managing to stand on one leg. |

seunmsg:then ask to know what convenant is paying their prof. So a prof of medicine would be paid 350k? Then what is he doing in the university? Let buhari go and teach medicine now. So I should collect 350k because I am teaching children of the poor? chai. I am now running a charity organization? |
