I just came across the 2000 film by Lancelot Imasuen about issakaba and remembered it was all about the Bakassi Boys in Anambra way back.

We don't seem to hear about them again

Anyone know what became of them and also how is the crime rate now in Anambra state and co.

Other theories had it some selfish politicians used them as a tool in silencing their opponents and rivals during elections. Tales of assassinations, thuggery, and kidnapping had their names written in them whc led the government to ban the group.
Either ways, the brought an end to the Dreaded Derico and the all powerful Prophet Eddie nawgu and they will always talk about them for years to come as a result of this feat.
