200 Nigerians are now dead from the deadly coronavirus

The deadly Coronavirus pandemic has now killed 200 Nigerians after the country recorded eight new passings on Wednesday.

New figures released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC, indicated that Nigeria’s Coronavirus passings move from 192 on Tuesday to 200 on Wednesday.


Lagos recorded two new passings on Wednesday to take its all-out passings from the infection to 40, while Kano came next with 36 passings.

Borno recorded 24 passings, while Katsina and Sokoto both rounded up 13 passings each.

Abuja has nine passings while Ogun, Edo, and Delta have recorded six passings each. Zamfara and Bauchi additionally have five passings each.


Oyo, Kaduna, Rivers, Osun and Kebbi have recorded four passings each since the pandemic broke out.

Jigawa and Gombe have three passings each, while Ekiti and Akwa Ibom have recorded two passings each.

Different states, for example, Kwara, Plateau, Nasarawa, Yobe, Adamawa, Niger, and Ondo have recorded one demise each.

You should be talking of thousands not hundreds. Only fulani herdsmen has killed more than 200 since covid-19 started. Don't even talk of boko haram. Thousands have died due to the lockdown alone. The lock down has killed thousands of Nigerians.

At the same time we can console ourselves with the thousands that has been born to replace the lost.
