If it goes to court, court will likely rule in favour of the nwc backed primaries

No, only if there's no irregularities in the process.
Don't be too sure.

Am not too sure but when it comes to primaries, the nwc sets up a committee to conduct the primaries, declare results and sunlit to the nwc.so you see that the law is heavily on their side.zamfara was lost because the nwc was not involved and the state chapter conducted it alone.

FuckAllTheMODs:

First of all, who is in control of the State chapter of the party?
And again, stop saying the law supports the NWC to determine the mode of primary because it is already causing controversy and dilemna. The party national deputy chairman accused the chairman of irregularities.
If you are observant, you will know this will lead to court and the case will end up as the case of Rivers or Zamfara.

The party deputy chairman is complaining about the the party national secretary and not the mode of primary. Obaseki is gone as far as the primary is concerned.

I’ve telling those comparing this case with Zamfara and Rivers the same thing. But they choose not to understand they’re different cases. In rivers it is the ward congress conducted in 2018 that made them lose out because there were 2 parallel congresses. Most of them supporting Obaseki knows that he is a goner but they won’t say the truth because of their hatred for Oshiomhole or they’re novice. The electoral act as amended gave the NWC right to choose the mode of primary and submission of candidate to INEC.

Unless this governor dey close with bubu, he should just forget winning the primary election in APC. Amosun is stronger and more tougher than him, he was bullied by Tinubu and Oshiomole.

Baba Obasanjo finished Atiku in the book tittle My Watch but he became anointed candidate of former President last yr general election,if Osho said he can't entrust Edo money in his anointed candidate b4 is a politicians gimmick language to deceive you gullible citizens of Edo state.
But from my own perspective Obaseke is the most gullible politicians Iin Edo state why can he wait to attack his boss after luring him to secure second time

The question to be asked here is why is Obaseki scared of a direct primary if his claims to be very popular amongst the party member is right?

This isn't about balls but legality. The NWC is also the body responsible for submitting names to INEC.

You need to ask Senator Amosun what happened to him and his candidate in Ogun state.

Governor Obaseki needs to prepare for the direct primaries because when the scripts flip, he will be on the strong side up
If it is true that Buhari has endorsed Obaseki, then it's game over for Oshiomohle.

Oshiomohle should lick his wounds silently.

Obaseki should just give up at this juncture, and port to any other political party of his choice. He, Obaseki lost the battle, the very moment Osho survived the final onslaught against his chairmanship position, when he (Obaseki) went for the kill and failed.
We, the neutral political observers, already knew it will end in tears for Gov. Obaseki, as this scenario is akin to a football match, where the center referee(Oshiomole) is not just a fan, but a club owner of one of the competing teams in the match, so the outcome is very much obvious.

And Obaseki should stop banking on Buhari at this stage, as he (Buhari) has not saved any of his very close political allies before in this kind of tussle, case study e.g Okoracha, Amaosun and Amaechi.
God will bless you ....they think Buhari give a damn about party politics that's how they they were hailing Ambode against Tinubu at last what happened,Amosun have been with Buhari when he was in ANPP but what happened to Amosun's candidate his primary was not recognize by NWC of the party and the same thing happened in Imo , Obaseki is a goner the day he failed in his bid to remove Oshiomole at last two primaries will be conducted and the one recognized by NEC will be accepted by the INEC.

Like the so-called Presidency was behind Amosun abi? Or like it was behind Okorocha? Keep guessing.

Buhari's Presidency has demonstrated for long that it has no interest in whatever goes on in this kind of tussle at States' Party levels. And Edo's case is not going to be different.

Good thinking. In fact, truer words have never been spoken about the serially nonchalant Buhari. I honestly feel that the man Buhari thinks that, by letting everyone do what they like, he's being non-dictatorial and is now wearing the toga of a democrat, lol.

Obaseki should forget about Buhari's backing. Time and again, Buhari has not interfere in this tussles at state level. APC has lost some states due to his inability to bring the warring parties together. So Obaseki, just go to the drawing board and strategize how you will fight your battle.
