Funny. They don't have testing labs but they are getting cases, how did they know the patients have corona virus, if thy never had the land yo test them.

It turns out David ibiyeomie was right after all Nigerian corona virus is a scam

they article only identifies that there are not enough testing centres. with the available testing centres NCDC can conveniently generate the results they release daily. we are talking about a serious matter here you are mentioning one scammer pastor.

Other states used their own monies to set up labs, what's stopping them from doing that
Well, opinions differ.

We must absolutely have testing labs not only in every state but in every major city or town, so that tests can be conducted very quickly and the infected identified and isolated before they start spreading the disease to other people (several days before they start showing symptoms). Speed is a force multiplier for testing. If two countries are testing the same number of people per day, the one with a faster testing will have better results. Countries need to keep increasing their testing capacity as fast as they can, using all the money that they have, until it gets to the level where the number of new cases start to drop. Whatever it costs, it is worth it.
Very correct

Ordinary lab they cannot build. At most #100M. usually much less 3-5M. But the people will keep quiet and say its none of their biz. Which is worse? In places where people are still sane, they would be demanding the removal and jailing of the entire executive by now. But Nigeria...?

Is Port Harcourt now a state?
The person that compiled that list should be a dummy. Putting PH among the states is a big no-no mistake that should have been made. WTF

They took samples from suspects and drove them to the testing centres in other states. Is this so hard to understand?

True. I was surprised when an ncdc official said we don't need in every state because they're expensive

You don't need to have labs in a state to confirm positive cases in that state. Samples are sent for analysis in the labs in neighbouring states. The first Kano cases were confirmed in Abuja.

hmm!

The federal government should assist them na.

What happened to all the monies contributed by Nigerian billionaires
We have a dead govt.
I tell you, with #70m you can upgrade a well equipped private lab (e.g Lahor Research Lab in Benin) but they won't.
They need d money in their bank accounts.
