With little investigation, you will discover that it was Nigerians that asked to be either dropped off or picked up.

Las las, we don’t have any respect for our own laws.

Besides the point,.....
they should have declined!!!

I tell you to put hand inside fire, you go fit
They better pay sharperly before the fine is raised or corrected at today's rate.

The money isn't my concern but justice must be seen to be done.

Just 1M shocked

That's a pat on the back. I'm not surprised. They have their loots hidden there and will still go for treatment after lock down has been fully eased.

The parking fees are much higher than £2000 as are the lost flying hours. The N1m was just the tip of the iceberg. They have lost a lot more than N1m

So they impounded a whole aircraft for violating our laws because of a paltry ₦1m fine? why not release the plane and the crew for free instead. As usual they have let them off the hook because the aircraft in question belong to the almighty UK, what a shame..

Lol. Sometime last week, an actress that sells sëxtoys and also a friend and follower of Jaruma, posted on her IG story; a $10,000 ticket for folks going to UK from Nigeria and she said it was limited.

You can imagine the hustle.

This govt is crazy, N1 million is just about $3,000. Let a Nigerian airline try that in UK. Just like a South African judge that fined Chinese ship crew a mere $2640 for throwing a Tanzanian stowaway overboard.

Why all the noise for a paltry N1m? They could have as well filled the aircraft with passengers knowing they could part with a meagre N1m.

When US done freeze over $14m belonging to Air Peace based on arguable/debatable financial dealings.

It's only £2,100 fine that Nigeria imposed on a very clear aviation infractor.

hmm.

For all of u criticising the Hon. Minister on the 1m fine so u want him to go outside the law and fine them 1b abi. Presently that is what the law provisioned and he stated that clearly.
