@temi23: for sure the same rules wont apply for all recruitment processes. in our case i think its cos of all the retirements and promotions and also the factor of internal politics and pressure dat is casuing the delay.

My contact called me himself today and he said to me dat we r next online. Dat dey r sorting out the training batches. Cos it wld be in batches so we shld be preparing. That we r plenty and cnt all fill the training centre in satellite so dey wld have to split us into batches. I'm alwayz d one calln to ask for update but he calld me himself 2da. I nw said to him that pple in Hr dept r nt aware of dis and he said CBN is more secretive than d sss. So my pple I'm very sure it wnt pass next week or upper week for all dis sortn nd we shall all get our letters. He also reconfirmd that they need so many pple so dey wld end up calln all that were invitd for intervw. I wld let d house knw wassup as soon as I hear anyfin again. PeAcE!!!

me thinks those added numbers of people employed from the figures on the recent dates wld be mid level to senior management which is constantly being done in CBN as the need arises. i am just wondering if ever CBN has had up to 6000 staff on its payroll. my thinking is that not more than 300-350 new staff wld be employed when the time comes to bring the total to sometin like 5600 staff. By God's grace we wld all be there.

GUYS, my contact called my mum today to tell her my letter will be sent next week. My mum called my to say congratulation some minutes ago. My contact rarely calls or pick calls when we call. I never believed he could ever help because pple's opinion about him is that 'HE NEVER HELPS ANYONE BECAUSE HE STRUGGLED HIS WAY UP'. I believe he his sure because he highly placed. I don't even call him since the day he told me i was disturbing him with my calls and that was in march 2009. Guys, I wish every one of us Good luck. Till I physically receive the letter, I put my hope in GOD. Thank to every one in the house

Hello every1, I've actually been following this thread and it's really promising as regards the level of optimism i see here. I also wrote d test and went for d interview.

Good news is a friend i made at the interview told me he was called today to forward his CV to an email addy he was given. I seriously think the wait is about to stop for all of us.

The question is. Is this the beginning of a new recruitment exercise? If it is what is the outcome of the long awaited one?

And the call for CV, is it for a special set with strong leg inside or what?

Yeah Brosiye. This friend of mine I met after the test at Abuja. We have been calling each other since then for update.

We also attended interview at the same venue though different appointment dates.

You guys should not be worry about this call of c.v just be thanking God is not us that they call to send c.v. Like a friend told me our letter is on the way ALL IS WELL.

Right about now its more dangerous for cbn to call u than waitn to receive letter this week. For cbn to call and ask for ones cv at this point!!! Its kinda scary o
