Now look at this scriptures from the Lord Jesus mouth in Matthew 24:29-31

29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now let's look at Verse 31, does it describe the rapture or the second coming of Jesus??

If it describes the rapture, does that mean that the elect (the Church) will pass through the tribulation as described in verse 29, or is verse 29 not talking of the 'Antichrist tribulation'?

1. No the aren't the same, The rapture is the taken away of the saints to be with Jesus in the skies during which the event of the marriage supper of the Lamb where the saint will be with Jesus celebrating and rejoicing. same at this time, the world will be experiencing the great tribulation.

2. The second coming is after the 7 years of tribulation upon the earth. At this time Jesus will come back and step.on Earth(The mount of Olives in Is real to be prescice where he will rule the earth for a thousand years. same at this time, the devil would be locked in the bottomless pit for the same thousand years.


After this then comes the Judgement of the whole world.

The second coming of our lord Jesus is the same as the rapture.
The wor d rapture simply means to be caught up in the sky to meet with Him at his second coming.

Sorry, which other great tribulation are you talking about?

The rapture is the taking up while The second coming is the coming down

At The rapture the saints will be taken up .christ will appear to only those seeking his appearance and they will meet him up .

But second coming christ will come down with the saints and fight for isreal and judge the world

The rapture will trigger the beginning of the 7year tribulation

The likelihood of this rapture/second coming happening in the next 100 years is slim to none though. But the likelihood that everyone present here today will die before the next 100 years is certain. Why worry yourselves with rapture/second-coming doctrines when death is what is sure to come upon us sooner? Channel your focus and attention to the new covenant that is Jesus Christ, and your obedience to His commandments, a daily task that Jesus has called His own to?

Is there any scripture that supports this stand of yours? Matthew 24 that I quoted surely put the rapture AFTER the great tribulation. Also, the scripture below (Rev 20):
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The souls on those thrones were beheaded for the witness of Christ and refused to take the mark of the beast. Which means they went through the great tribulation. They were part of the first resurrection. According to Apostle Paul, the first event of rapture is the first resurrection. Are you getting my drift, sir?

You are right, except it's 3 and half years of tribulation
Remember the Antichrist will sign peace deal for one week(7yrs) but in the middle of the week(3 n half) he breaks the deal ushering in the tribulation of the saints
