I think NCDC should give us the number of test carried out per day before the number of positive cases. it's only then we can know if we are doing well or not 3 Likes |

flemsy15:The decision to lock down or relaxing it isn't that of NCDC but the Govt. They can only advice but not direct. Even in USA, Donald Trump didn't heed their advice. |

Kwanza:So nobody even noticed this... Yesterday and today NCDC tested 4k samples each, they said they are rounding up testing so we should expect more cases, that means they want to reach their peak this month. Remember PTF chairman Boss said FG will hands off and the next easing of lockdown will be decided by the states and community leaders. When they were testing 1000+ we had 200, 300 cases, now they are testing 4000 were still have same number of cases. Let me stop here, i thank God they are close to reaching their peak, hopefully they will open up everywhere next month. 1 Like |

Aggressive testing is the only means by which we can ever know if any curve is been flattened. As it is, that is not happening. I guess we ll have to live with this virus until a vaccine is found. My only worry is asymtomatic ones will continue spread this virus to the vulnerable ones and that will cause more severity and more death. NB: for those who do not believe the virus exist, may ur vulnerable loved ones never catch it. Even seemingly healthy people do die. I guess we don't know someone who knows someone who has it cos of the silence culture with this type of thing in Nigeria. Rem how pple didn't believe hiv/aids existed? But then, we are free to believe whatever we want! Afterall its a free world 2 Likes |

from what we see in d figures, state with low coronavirus case are using more good testing device, while state with high coronavirus case are using more fake testing device. d was a time a fake testing device wrongly claim that d governor of oyo state has coronavirus. politics & corruption has enter coronavirus in lagos, as d are people who have ask question where does ncdc get their numbers from, as d have not seen any ncdc car comming 2 take a person 2 isolation center |

SirWarlock: in practical terms..... Is any state of the federation actually locked down? People go about their daily activities regardless. It's just those office places that government needs to pronounce open.... E.g schools If they can open religious centres, why not schools |

2gbasky22:Well yes Nigeria has virtually gone back to normal. Opening of religious centres was unnecessary tbh. I agree Nigeria's covid response is uneven and self defeating. That and schools should be one of the last things given the situation on ground ie community transmission. So let's hope the religious congregants know what they are doing . The services can only hold for one hour and one way in another way out could help limit the spread . But for schools as per Nigeria, I don't see how any one is ready be it tertiary, secondary or primary. Going by NCDC stats the bulk of cases are people in the 31-40 age range. Schools can buck that trend. |

Confirmedzombie: Guy it's you that needs to wake up bro. There's COVID-19 in Nigeria likewise the huge COVID-19 scam. Out of 10 the declare positive 2 are actual cases the remaining 8 are just to make up the number. If you've been involved in with NGO or taken part in the computation of immunization figures you would understand what I'm talking about. |

Yesterday, 3916 was tested, today 1535 was tested. Why the sharp drop? Yesterday 241 out of 3916 tested positive and today 345 out of 1535 tested positive. Should it not be the more the number tested the more the number of positive cases? |
