*CHIEF MOGHALU GREETS PROF. CHARLES ESIMONE ON FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS VICE CHANCELLOR, UNIZIK*

The Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Chief Dr. George Moghalu congratulates Dr. Charles Okechukwu Esimone on his first year anniversary as the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The NIWA top boss and chieftain of All Progressives Congress applauded Dr. Esimone for a life dedicated to the search and promotion of knowledge, advancement of human skills, and contribution to national development.

Chief Moghalu felicitated with the Vice Chancellor, who identified his strength early in research, through diligence and resilience, rising to become a Professor of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Microbiology at the age of 37, emerging as the youngest professor at UNIZIK as well as the first professor of Pharmaceutical Microbiology in Southeastern Nigeria and later taking up responsibilities as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

He urged Dr. Esimone to take pride in the wisdom he had imparted to many over the years, especially in his field of Pharmacy, the immeasurable, multiplier effect it has had on the society at large and setting up a solid foundation that would further strengthen and propagate his philosophy of building society through good and quality education.

Chief Moghalu prayed that the almighty God would bless the renowned scholar with long life, and sustain his fountain of wisdom to keep inspiring upcoming students and researchers, as he aims to mould them in character, competence and competitiveness, and grant him wisdom to achieve his dreams for the institution and humanity at large.
