I said this last week that the Electoral Act as amended gives the NWC to choose the mode of primary but those online e-warriors who don’t know anything about the law we’re here calling us names. The reason why Kogi APC choose indirect primary is because there was no faction in the state Exco.
But in the case of Edo there are 2 factional chairman, if you read the news you will see 2 people claiming to be chairman of the party. In a situation like this the best option is to go for Direct Primary to let the party members choose the flag bearer than allowing one faction to decide and the losing part will go to court. APC is avoiding Zamfara and Rivers issue.

Remember the primary role of a governor is to protect lives and properties of it's citizenry.
