na wa oh
now i know what to bring friends and family
onions!!!
Na wa oh
i see greed rearing its ugly head somewhere along the line of transportation
but on a serious note
if you cant get the real thing settle for the powdered or granules form of onions
trust me they smell 100% oniony and taste wonderful in stews
whether they are sold in Nigeria or not
that's a different thing
all hail naija oh

My people the issue of cost of living in PH is not some thing to write home about.I used to live in PH and i have never had such experience before, even in Abuja food items are cheaper to compare to PH. The worst part of it is that there are no good roads, electricity,no decent kele for that city and i think one of the dirtiest city in Nigeria.I began wondering why they call it garden city or oil city, when ever it rains you can be in traffic for up to 5hrs trying to get home and if you are not careful you might be carried away by current from the rain.I want to ask most of the residents of PH what they feel about that city and what are they thinking of doing to make that place habitable for them selves before they implore others to visit or relocate there.

You obviously haven't been there in recent times have you?

Why will it not be expensive?
Who care to be a famer any longer?
After all we are all chasing a white collar jobs forgetting that none can survive without food.
20% people can never feed 80%
All care of is oil. I am afraid of famine happening in Nigeria.
No bank is willing to give loan to young and pld farmers instead they are always happy to give loans to pen robbers who will never pay them back.
I pray will don't buy one bulb of onion for #100.

LET US GO BACK TO FARM.
We can still put on TIE being a farmer.

Some folks on nairaland are living in an imaginary Delta state where they have industries along the roads. If its so true how come the number of okada riders are trippling every day? For the onions price its the same in warri cuz it was brought up as a prayer point in my church last week.

So a high number of okada riders means there are no industries as compared to most states. Bros, dis your logic get as e be o!

Seccessionists should take note of this development which is indicative of things to come, if they have their way. Feeding may become quite challenging.

In the event of seccession, Cameroon and Benin Republic will feel any gaps. The concerned parts of Nigeria will only need to build better connecting roads, sea ports and rail lines to those countries; they will recieve fruit and veg from Cameroon and Benin Republic, while Cameroon and Benin Republic get exported manufactured products in return. QED.

In the long term, areas like Obudu, Mambilla, Benue and Plateau will be made into highly productive agricultural zones that will feed all of West Africa. . . What was the food problem again?

In that case, why wait till seccession, why dont we start now and build up on this brilliant solution, and in the event the seccession never happens, the country will still be the better for it.

So the US which is running at close to 10% unemployment rate has no industries, because people can't find jobs? That question is ridiculous, there is no relationship between the presence of industries and okada riding. In fact I'm laughing really hard.

Dude, the fact that you've asked for ten industries in a 15 Km stretch vindicates my position. Go find out how many states you can ask that sort of question about (especially ndu chucks desert state).

you just shot your own foot by using the US as an example, cuz majority of the manufacturing plants in US has been relocated to the asia continent cuz of cheap but skilled labour and outsourcing is the order of the day over there.

visit agcin rather than relapsing into a cocoon of ignorance. Why should i visit again when i know that going from eleme junction to rumuokoro via eastwest road will ground my car due to bad roads talkless of the hold up.I think that you should at least visit some other states and see the extent of development that is going on there before you make noise of PH.The only visible thing i see the governor is doing there is his effort on building schools that's all.I lived in PH for 2yrs and out of those period i was generating my own electricity and constantly getting bills from PHCN the almighty. Its a shame that with all the oil money being allocated to PH there is nothing to write home about except for the schools of which i commend the governor for that.Flooding, roads, power, lawlessness amongst police officers and oil company escorts, collection of trash and many more i will love to bring to your notice.Hope this is enough to show you that i know PH very well and can not recomend the city to any one for now.
