I have had 'greenbook' (based on true life events) on my laptop for a while. I started watching it back then but stopped after a few scenes, perhaps it didn't interest me. Not until yesterday that i watched it till the end and a particular scene continues to wonder me.

The last place Dr Shirley was to perform - was a restaurant. He like every other person wanted to join them in the hall to have dinner but wasn't allowed to because, 'it is the rule of the place'. He was invited from a long distance for his competence and dexterity in playing the piano 'regardless' of being a 'black person' but wasn't allowed in to dine alongside other white people that he was to perform for that same night because he is a 'black person'.
