LOL it's normal for plane to be pushed... Happens all over the world bt what's abnormal is that it's people pushing it.... Instead of the designed cart like car

I wanted to laugh then i remember human beings are going to board this plane like real live human beings

There's nothing wrong with the plane. Planes hardly use reverse thrust on ground. Maybe the airport's push tug broke down.

TUANKU:

Planes don't always taxi into position, there's a small vehicle called a tow tractor that is barely bigger than a golf cart that does the pushing and positioning.
In the absence of a tow tractor which is a shame, my naija people decided to do it cavemen style.

This is the reason I'm still on nairaland. Once in a while, I learn new things. smiley

the plane na push and fly?
grin

that's how one arik air flight from Abuja to Benin... of all the time in the world they could have done their maintenance, they decided to screw and unscrew the wing compartment few minutes to take off in presence of passengers on board.

... anyway I surrendered my soul to Jesus that moment because I couldn't get off board. thank God nothing extra unusual went on mid air.

Nigeria aviation na try your luck

Nigerians are very ignorant people.

Are you telling me the arm chair critics here with their subzero IQ are smarter than the plane operators?

The first thing to do when confronted with a strange event is to check if there is a rational reason for it.

A Google Search would have saved most of you from embarrassing yourselves.
literate professor... my friend will you keep kwayet.

where in the world or on 'google' have you seen 15men pushing a plane?
yes planes can be towed but not by human mechanical force. there is a vehicle for that.

people like you never even go airporth once

Ignorance is a disease and a crime. Planes get pushed or rolled into positions when mechanically doing so isn't possible or necessary.
what Is wrong with you lots talking about ignorance.
no one is disputing the fact that a plane can't be towed but being towed by humans is the laughable factor here.

you don't always have to sound all smart you know?

Funny people live in Nigeria. These are things the whites do every time and even since ages ago but because its Nigeria it has turned out to be a big news and people think it is abnormal.

You are very wrong. The whites do that more only because its normal there and you don't see them take it as one big news compared to how Nigerian bloggers make everything seem a big deal.
