Waste for Meals Initiative is a social enterprise solution of Poisera Nutrition designed to reduce hunger and malnutrition among children, improve their health and learning, and achieving a cleaner environment through an integrated approach.

Waste For Meals is working to provide low-cost nutritious meals for children in low-income communities and in public primary schools while creating an alternative and innovative payment method using recyclable waste (plastic bottles) as a currency.

They believe that children need nutritious meals for good health and well being, and to achieve quality education.

They are also collecting recyclable wastes (plastics, cans, and carton/paper) from individual, community and corporate donors to raise money so that we can provide low-cost meals to children sustainably.

As a start-up organization passionate about social impact, we are calling for volunteers who are self-directed, motivated and passionate about children's nutrition and health, quality education, and cleaner environment to join our team of committed volunteers.

CYHRDN is looking for Commonwealth youth to lead on human rights and democracy (Volunteer Executive Positions)

Applications are open for young people to lead the charge in protecting and promoting human rights across the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth Youth Human Rights and Democracy Network (CYHRDN) is seeking volunteers for its executive positions to serve from 2020 to 2022.

CYHRDN is one of 10 Commonwealth Youth Networks supported by the Secretariat. It was created with the objective of advancing and actively engaging young people in the fight for democracy and visible progress on human rights.

CYHRDN has announced eight high-profile, voluntary positions on its executive team for year 2020 – 2022. They are inviting applications from young and suitably qualified individuals who are passionate about promoting and protecting human rights and democratic principles across the Commonwealth.

Positions

The open positions are:

1.Policy Research and Advocacy Coordinator
2.Communications Coordinator
3.Education and Training Coordinator
4.Partnership Engagement Coordinator
5.Disability Rights Coordinator

Eligibility
