How can hushpuppi be called criminal? Has he been convicted?

He remains a suspect.

Now, Obi is convicted already, he is no longer a suspect. Invictus Obi is a criminal, awaiting sentencing.

Finally, this crook has got his well-deserved ending. Do the crime, do the time.

I'm so glad this arrest happened outside the country. If it were here, we all know how his story would go.

Youths should learn to work hard, legally. Don't be swept off the floor by the wealth of those that make noise all over social media. Be more concerned about how their wealth is acquired and not how much they have. If you know how they got their wealth, you can either learn or RUN.

One by one, nemesis would catch up with every thief, whether scammer or politician.

Now, we wait for the sentencing. Hope he gets a life with no chance of parole.

Life??! On top wetin??!... Maximum should be 15 to 20 years with chance of parole after a decade.

His real name is Remon Olorunwa Abbas

Despite that Hushpuppi is Yoruba who was rightly long suspected of fraud without any Yoruba defending him that "is it because he is Igbo", I and many others are happy he has been busted.

He will do his time for his crime. He will not be given a high chief title in his village.

As for you, your agony and tribal embarrassment over past Igbo crimes can be clearly seen in your emotional posts.

As always, you are the most basic of tribal bigots who would rather look to deflect the problems of your tribe by searching frantically for a similar crime committed by another tribe.

You always start off from a position of ignorance, only to be schooled by comments that educate you better.

You assume that a Yoruba surname that has long been associated with this Hushpuppi since his arrest is not Yoruba, so you have helped the world to know his true Yoruba surname?

On your vanquished thread, you also claim his gang are from the same tribe, yet you couldn't tell us their names, even when news reports about the arrests already revealed there was a certain Efe arrested too.

Is Efe a Yoruba name?

All your agony that will not end anytime soon is borne out of your tribal embarrassment over the Igbo armed robbery in Dubai, the Invictus Obi bust that even Forbes thought was a legitimate entrepreneur, and the litany of Igbo fraudsters that were arrested in the USA around the time of Invictus.

Unlike you, we Yorubas condemn the fraudsters and are happy their end has come.

As always, Abike Dabiri has mentioned the name of a Nigerian soiling the image of the country, yet many Igbos like you are upset she did not mention the tribe as though she ever did such before to set a precedent. You just can't overcome your shame as though she was the FBI that published that long list.

If you don't want to hear Igbo names associated with crime, then let Igbos resist the temptation of criminality.

Power is not your problem.

Are you are politician and didnt get voted?

Why are you fixated on power when there are opportunities before you that you've refused to embrace.

There is farming, there's a chasm of power generation that needs filling if only the average Nigerian was innovative.

Wizkid didn't wait for Kanye West to sign him before he became a global brand.

We should stop thinking small as a people.

Despit the Nigerian challenges, opportunities abound.
