#WHY_ARE_WE_UNWAVERING

Supporting His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chubike Rotimi Amaechi ( aka The civilian General aka Ikwerre Ninja ) was not a choice we made but a decision most of us took in our conscience. Some say following him ( CRA ) is #cult_like , some say it is that of a mentor to his mentee, but, we know what we saw & believe in him. While others wish CRA to be the political moses that won't taste the promise land ( we laugh ���) but I asked myself have such people been tutored enough to be the Joshua & Caleb of our time that will be the minority ( Like #Chief_Victor_Giadom ) and still instill hope with their speech and candour , your guess is as good as mine.

On why we praise CRA when it seems things don't go as planned. We have seen him lead, we have seen him govern, we have slept with our two eyes closed while he fought insecurity/cultism and restore investors confidence in Rivers state economy. When he embarked on no mean feat to employ 13,000 teachers in Rivers state Education sector a record breaking feat in the history of Nigeria �� I was there. We know and saw the importance he placed on primary health centre. We saw the premium he placed on education that most of his critics today are beneficiary of his educational scholarship and grants , we saw how student friendly he was and is when he prioritize the students concern through the office of his SSA on student affairs I was there, we saw him build farms , opened fish farms that thrive during his reign these and more are proofs #WHY he is still been #Praised, #Loved and #Adored because most of those who love him are beneficiary of Amaechi's Government and the largesse of his magnanimous heart .

On why we went to hell with him and back. An anonymous writer said " its either u live for nothing or die for something" . Sometime in AD 2014 when it was obvious that our political journey in Rivers state was hinged on the conclusion of one man #CRA , he studied the unfolding events , been pressured by the then President GEJ to leave the PDP he decided to take us through the wilderness of political oblivion ( at the national ) and pitched his tent with the nymph called APC as at then. While we prepares for what lies ahead in the battle to rescue the soul of the nation. His only crime in the region was that he supported a Muslim against his "brother" . When the appointment as DG came he knew like we knew, he had to make it count and show the world that fighting spirit that reclaim his mandate from PDP in October 2007 from an interloper who never contested primaries. He lead us and we followed him through the stormy road of that bloody 2015 general elections where we were flogged, maimed, and killed , but none doubt his leadership and we won at the national and lost at the state because like lucifer a satan was hatched in our midst who will betray us and continue to become the accuser of CRA because he could not ascend to the position CRA now occupies.

On why we shall still remain with him, CRA like every mortal man has his imperfections, but that not withstanding you cannot take away the fact he is a good man and has established more Leaders than his haters put together. I grew fond of CRA in the year 2001/2002 and admired one quality about him #STEADFASTNESS if you doubt me ask Dr Peter Odili ( former Gov. RS ). If you recall that during the aforementioned year under review Ladoja of OYO state was impeached, Fayose of Ekiti was impeached, DSP of Bayelsa was impeached, Lalung of Plateau state was impeached infact that was the season of Impeachment that #OBJ made the state house Speakers a demigod, but #CRA was never carried away by the euphoria of that moment, he covered Odili's unclothedness with his loyalty hence Dr Peter Otunaya Odili owe Amaechi alot to thank him for although CRA is Odili benefactor. Like the prose #Oliver_Twist we expect more from him in the years ahead hence our unflinching support cannot be question.

On the APC debacle , his silence has been killing alot of persons, who see everyone except themselves as ♟ to be used at will. I believe PMB approach to issues has finally taking a toll on CRA and hence we keep seeing a resurgence of a better Amaechi , whose political presence can't be denied. We believe CRA will align himself with PMB decision on the conclusion reached at just concluded virtual NEC meeting of 25th June, 2020, hence his support base will do same . The days and years ahead will unveil the next Agenda for CRA, but right now let us support the ongoing Reforms in APC while we build a better party structure.

Amaechi did well as Governor, there's no doubt about that, we all know that. The question is what more is he trying to prove?

He has been in government for the past 20 something years, he should not try to impose anyone on anybody.

Be deceiving yourself. Even if it's Ameachi, 2023 is Yoruba turn in APC! I hope you know the parties that merge to become APC? CPC from North and ACN from Southwest. So if North finishes her tenure, common sense should tell you all that it remain South West and not those people INSULTING SOUTHWEST for the alliance THEN. HYPOCRITES
