Now was Paul part of the 12 desiples. Paul was once a persecutor of christains He said Jesus appeared to him when he was going on a mission to persecute early christains (the one who believed law).

Definitely When Jesus was on earth he didnt know of his existence you feel me. Why would a man who did not walk with Jesus when he was alive write more than half of the books of the new testament what happened to the deciples... He passed a message Jesus didn't utter when he was on earth that was why he had clash with the early Christians. Jesus preached 'law' he preached 'Grace'...

Christian missionaries say that Ibn Kathir says in his Tafsir of the Quran that this verse refers to Paul of Tarsus and thus Paul (Bulus) is one of the Messengers of God according to Islam.

Let’s see whether Ibn Kathir makes such a claim.

Ibn Kathir writes:

“The names of the first two Messengers were Sham`un and Yuhanna, and the name of the third was Bulus, and the city was Antioch (Antakiyah).”

But the question is this Ibn Kathir’s view?

No. This saying is attributed to: Shu`ayb Al-Jaba’i

Ibn Kathir is quoting Shu`ayb Al-Jaba’i. Ibn Kathir has also quoted interpretations of different people as well. He says that according to Ibn Ishaq the names of these three are:

(i) Sadiq
(ii) Saduq
(iii) Shalum

Note: No Bulus (i.e. Paul) mentioned here.

Later on Ibn Kathir in his tafsir refutes this and says that according to the proceeding Quranic verses the people were destroyed. Historically there is no evidence that the city of Antioch faced such destruction and thus this cannot even be about the city of Antioch.

Analyzing Some Tafsirs

Now let’s check Qurtubi whom these missionaries have labeled to be “The Number 1 Muslim Imam”.

Qurtubi:

“Tabari mentions: Sadiq Saduq Shalum

Someone else: Shamoun Yuhanna

Al Naqash said: Saman and Yahya – Did not mention Sadiq and Saduq.

According to Qurtubi Jesus sent the first two as messengers to the king of Antioch. To him they said “We are disciples of Jesus”. The king jailed them and whipped them. This news reached Jesus and he sent a third messenger ‘Shamoun Al-Safa’.”

Note: Qurtubi does not mention any Paul (Bulus) either.

We will now check another tafsir

Tafsir Ibn Abbas:

(When We sent unto them twain) two apostles: Simon the Canaanite and Thomas, (and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third) We strengthened them with Simon Peter who confirmed the message conveyed by the other two apostles, (and they said; Lo! we have been sent unto you.

Note: No Paul mentioned over there either.

What we have done here is basically refuted the idea that the Tafsirs unanimously agree that one of the three people sent as messengers was Paul. There is a difference of opinion among the scholars of tafsir which is evidence that neither the Quran mentions the name of Paul as one of the messengers nor did Prophet Muhammad (saw) ever mention his name with regards to this verse.

Now if the holy spirit taught Christians a unified concept of grace why did it not teach christians unified concept of Christianity.

Catholic was the first church why did the other break out from it and are catholic led by false holy spirit?

The jehova witness believe they are the only true Christians is it that their holy spirit is telling them all other christianic association are false.

We have the C&S also and many differwnt churches on earth thinking they better than the other.

My own is if the holy spirit taught Christians unified concept of Grace I think it should also teach unified concept of Christianity.

Now explain pastors had different view on this coronavirus pandemic e.g Adeboye, Oyedepo, T.b Joshua, odumeje, this mfm pastor e.t.c why?
Adeboye said God wanted the world to be on holiday, Oyedepo said it is work of evil spirit, T.b Joshua said it will leave by March 27, Odumeje said it will leave by April 11 e.t.c is it the same holy spirit saying all this. Did your holy spirit say anything about corona virus if yes what did it say and does it match any of these pastors view?

Can u please use your holy spirit to confirm if all this pastors are serving the same Holy spirit/God. If I decide to become a christian today pastor should I follow his teaching and which church do you recommend.

Why is it that not all churches speak in tongues is that the holy spirit is not the same.Even if we agree that there are different gift of holy spirit gift of healing, gift of prophecy e.t.c how is it possible that a whole church will or not speak in tongue if all Christians have General holy spirit.
Even Christians with holy spirit are still debating on speaking in tongues these are problems I expect holy spirit to solve.

How can we be certain that the true holy spirit taught grace and not false one?

Even among Christians they still argue about Jesus, some believe he is almighty God, some say he is just Son of God, Some even say an Angel this should not happen under the guidance of holy spirit it should be unified unless there are different holyspirits out there.

Now how do we even discern between a false holy spirit and a true holy spirit?

He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God has [by personal faith] does not have the life.

God's grace and God's ways are multi-faceted. The only unifying things in Christianity are the person of Jesus Christ and issues relating to him.

So, the Holy Spirit freely expresses his gifts and endowments the way he wills. Also, individual expressions of the working of the Holy Spirit can be varied. That is why one person can have one gift and another person a different one. All the gifts are however to be used for the benefit of the church.

In the essential - Faith in Christ we are unified. On the non-essentials there can be differences.

Thanks I am someone willing to learn on a normal day but if someone say bad things about my faith I will retaliate.
I understand the Christians and muslims to some extent because I had experience in both and I know about the holy spirit to some extent. I am a Muslim and I believe in Islam but I won't say any bad about Christians unless they say somthing bad about mine. It is not possible for everyone to have the same faith.

All those wars in the book of Kings your god commanded Israelites to go in and slaughter men women and children in cities? To use their women as slaves? To take over their properties? Does your Bible not contain text about the city of Jericho?
