WHY FEAR COVID-19 WHEN GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR.

The devil capitalizes on the things we fear to hunt us, covid-19 is a plague that will pass away with time, no matter how dreadful it may sound or feel God by his mercies will not use it to wipe out the entire human race.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love -; but perfect love casteth out fear: because of fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Fear brings torment, it takes away your peace and makes you feel insecure and unprotected but God's love has delivered us from all forms of fear because of what Christ has done for us at the Cross of Calvary.

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

No matter how covid-19 shakes the world, one thing you should not learn to do is fear. If you have received Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, the scriptures above are God's promises for you in a time like this.

Don't give the devil room to torment your life because of a disease that God has power over. No matter how bad the situation around your side is, you have to be strong and courageous.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Covid-19 has put a lot of people all over the globe on bondage. The fear of death has become the order of the day for many.
This same fear of death is what Christ conquered and gave us victory.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear -; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear is not part of God's gift to mankind.
Satan is the one manipulating the affairs of life in other to create fear in our hearts just to rob us of God's faithfulness toward His word.

The many "men of god" who were died of Covid-19 more than likely had some of the same verses on their lips even as their conditions deteriorated. Rather than memorizing verses which obviously do not cure much, may I suggest you look up the many commandments of Jesus Christ and begin to live in obedience to them all?

You see Jesus Christ never asked anyone to study or memorize verses. No, only the word of God(The word out of the very mouth of God Himself) has power, and only those who obey God are able to please Him. And His promises are stored up for just such people.
