(3). AN EXTRACT FROM MY eBOOK titled "WHEN PRAYER FAILS, TRY PRAISE".

(CONTINUED FROM YESTERDAY).

The names of the new employees were
placed on the notice board on the wall of the office. Since the Lord had
told me that I was already employed, by faith I went to check my names on
the notice board, as I walked out of the secretary’s office. I carefully
checked through the list of the names, low and behold, my names were not
there.

Then, I asked the Lord, “What else do I do”?
He said, “Keep praising and thanking me, you are already employed.”


I went home and I spent the weekend praising and thanking the Lord
by faith for the job.

On Monday, I went back to the government ministry, I saw a crowd of
people there that came for the three-day orientation course.

This time around, I was told the chairman was in his office. I went to his
office and his receptionist told me to sit in the waiting room, because the
chairman had a visitor.

As I sat in the waiting room, I could hear the
conversation of the chairman and his visitor.

It was an influential man that
came to persuade the chairman to employ his younger brother that came
with him. I overheard the chairman saying to the man, there were no more
vacancies for the job, and there was nothing else he could do. When I heard
that, it was as if a thousand and one demons screamed at my ears;
“Did you hear that?”
“A big man came to influence the chairman to get a job for his
younger brother and he was turned down.”

“You came alone, you can’t get the job.”
“This situation is hopeless”.

When the influential man and his younger brother left the chairman’s
office, I walked into the office.
