Christie will never turn down an auction. Greedy bastards and the British govt supports them because they pay taxes. Even when Egypt protested more than this, Christie still sold the statue of the head of a Pharaoh. |

obyrich: I bet you don't know you're speaking their language, you probably don't know how to speak your native language as well as you can speak theirs. You guys keep complaining about things that happened years ago while holding tightly to their culture. I bet you don't know that it was your fellow black leaders that sold your brothers to the whites. |

Many of these statues were also given away by fellow Nigerians. Britain returned a stolen Nigerian art in the 60s. Gowon as head of state took it back to britain to give the queen as a gift. The statue is in Britain till today. If Christie auctions it tomorrow, I don't think anybody can say it was gotten illegally. A dumb head of state brought it to them. |

Newsflash: Indonesia saddened by IGBO drug dealing that contributes to 50 deaths a day in the country. USA saddened that most of the FBi wanted fraudsters from Nigeria are IGBOs China saddened that they have to feed 8000 IGBO prisoners described as Nigerians! ...Nigeria saddened that most humiliation to the country abroad are caused mostly by IGBO criminals! |

Mightyhaiz: The truth is, the “home” Igbo criminals are a hopeless and shameless horde whose self esteem and sense of shame are terribly at their nadir, and as a result purvey crimes at home. Inter alia, for any stigmatised crime committed at home (Igbo land) there is a stern reprimand implicit in the cleansing of the crime. The sacerdotal process of cleansing the land of a crime or an abomination is called “Ikpu Alu”. However, “Ikpu Alu” (cleansing of abominations) does not extend to crimes committed by Igbo sons and daughters in places outside the native dome. It is therefore not surprising if some Igbo persons commit heinous crimes in obverse places, and come back home to take chieftaincy titles. As a matter of fact, in some morally weak Igbo communities it is a brave thing to traffic in drugs abroad. Drug barons are gleefully celebrated as Ndi kara Obi (lion-hearted people). Such is the pantomime of the Igbo and crimes. https://www.thecable.ng/igbo-crime-culture#:~:text=First%2C%20in%20Igbo%20ethology%2C%20it,by%20some%20unabashed%20Igbo%20criminals. |

Ndigbo TUFIA!!! IGBO people have no credibility in Nigeria and abroad to cry crocodile tears over anything, IGBOs are the worst exports holding Nigerian passports and have caused a lot of harm, criminality and humiliation to Nigeria and other nations. I dont care about their plight and never will! |

iAmTheJoker: You mean you are not taking any action. Several of us are actively raising our voices to governments around the world to get them to stop the injustices against Africa and Africans. It's people like you that still worship the white man's behavior as always right and your fellow African's as always wrong. 1 Like |
