Honestly a lot of Nigerian politicians have deep mental problem. What do you want to use this useless big house for? Can you imagine how much it took to build such a house especially on the cliff side and on a hill? Yet pensioners were dying of hunger. Ajimobi even had the guts to call them dead. Well he’s dead now.

It will never be well with Ajimobi and his useless wife. Shame and disgrace will be theirs. House that will be destroyed when you die, who can maintain this big nonsense that looks like a cube. Waste of resources and waste of money. Lack of empathy and common sense. Stupid people.


And some body in one thread said ajimobi is the best governor oyo ever had...

When Governor Makinde took office, he was said to have discovered massive fraud perpetrated by his predecessor's government and called for an in-depth investigation. One of the Late Ajimobi's assets under investigation is the Agodi 's Mansion. Here's the video of the Mansion( below).

I wonder what the man still wanted at 70. Our politicians are super greedy. Awaye malo kan ko si...which literally means everyone born of man must die, wondering why they still keep amassing so much even at old age as if they would live forever. This man wasn't an investor, neither was he a businessman. The money used belongs to the Oyo People. This was one of the reasons the party's supporters never liked what makinde is doing to their man.

Ajimobi was an MD/CEO of a major oil and gas company in Nigeria at the peak of his career. I'm not talking about this kwe kwe oil companies out there. He was MD of a MAJOR oil and gas company. Google it to confirm.

Since leaving his position as MD, as he being playing around and not managing his wealth?
I'm not here to defend him, just to set the records straight.

Did he become or own the said oil and gas before or after he joined politics and amassed so much? . He was house committee chair as senator and made so much money. I know his office at oke ado opposite liberty Road and I grew up under his constituency. All he did as senator was train a few of my friends on how to operate computer as his constituency project and nothing more.

If you know imalenfalaafia very well, then you know my place. He used to live in the USA before coming home to join politics. I can't remember him working for or owning any company before he joined politics.

the sad thing is that this was built with public funds...that's just the sad thing. Okay now he is dead did he carry the house with him?? No! It's still here. What will become of it, he will never know. Instead of living a life that will have impact on generations to come, they will come and behave and live like they will never die
And his wife was busy shouting "he served this state for 8 years", as if it was not a self enrichment spree.

IMO, it should be converted to a hospital.. This complex looking structure..... He has thousands of choice properties in all areas of Ibadan... This wide landmass exists at Agodi? shocked

Greedy snd wickedmen are too many in politics here.. If he had built that edifice as a world class hospital, maybe he will still be alive today. cool

So ladoja won the case with the government then, so this property belongs to him rightfully.

This land has been owned by ladoja, then alao akala, then ajimobi. It seems the current govt keeps taking the past govt to court for it.

No one is saying Ajimobi was not rich before he became a gov. The fact is he use the office as a govenor to acquire those lands. If the land was worth 50M he might have paid 5M for it. My friend that is fraud.

Foolish people they all claim they serve the state or the country ... while it is the state that actually serve them.. left to me I pray covid 19 should continue to spread and deprive them from travelling abroad... grin . He was not MD but a line manager and according to Arapaja, that's the only place in his resume where he was said to have worked. If you're from Ibadan, you'd know how notable Mr Arapaja is in oyo politics.

If this is Ajimobi's house, it shows he is a failure. You cannot complete ordinary mansion for 8years, your own for that matter. How would you complete something tangible. How many months do serious leaders need to complete something tangible?
