At this juncture, I want to on behalf of well meaning Nigerians Appeal to the federal government to open all sectors of the economy. Because, except the cure is found, the daily reported figures is going to be what it is.

Nigerians do not adhere to any safety precaution.

Further closure of any section of our economy will be counter productive at the long run. cos for the pastor 3 month that both total and compulsory closure(lockdown) had been enforced, there has not been any significant progress made at curtailing the spread of the virus. instead the figures has increased astronomically over the months.

It time to Open up and Live with the virus the best possible way we can.

Apart from education, restaurants and airlines, what parts of the economy are closed? The problem is a global problem which means that all economies have been hit. There is a massive ongoing global recession. Where is our FX going to come from? Even if you open up the economy and say people can sell their goods overnight, aggregate demand will not improve. It is one thing to be open, it is another thing to have sales. Can people afford the new price of goods, when dealers restock at new FX induced prices? Look at the NSE index, the top performers are all in consumer goods. Which means people are only buying food items against surviving the pandemic. There is very little business to business sales. So my bros, the closure of parts of the economy is masking a bigger problem which starts with "R".

The economy will take a while to turn, and this will mean low business confidence, low manufacturing output and job losses. It will turn around but it will take time -/a long time.

May be this is my suspicion!
I think only the rich and people living in affluence were being tested?
1)I kept wandering condition for discharging people.
2) the discharge patients will be re-tested again and again before discharging and it will be recorded.
3) I never said Covid-19 is a scam, but is not meant for we masses to follow the meaningless trend in Nigeria. The tests criteria is simply Bias.
4) since lockdown has been partially relaxed till date no one is dropping dead in lagos, and none of we masses will drop dead like claimed Brazilians, Ecuadorians etc. I did not go there o. May be it was staged as well to make us weary.
5) just pray the serenity prayer.

Hurray !!! Gradually we are winning ! For the first time, the number of discharged is greater than the number of new confirmed. If it continues like this, then we are getting over it.

Truth is, this disease ain't going now. Vaccine production usually takes years b4 they are fit for use, producing a drug is even more difficult. The earlier we realize this and learn to leave with the virus the better for us.
