My own question is where are the over 10,000 people recorded in Lagos kept? Which isolation center is big enough to accommodate that much? Testing is strictly by appointment, so are they telling me everyday over a thousand people volunteer to get tested on this same Nigeria. They should continue lying o very soon the number of cases reported will be too much to hide people of such number, then they will start to increase the number of discharged people. Just watch and see. Note*Covid19 is not airborne* 1 Like 2 Shares |

I should not assume at this point we don't know corona virus is not in Nigeria, because Ncdc result is saying Lagos as 10000 and more cases infected with corona virus, I myself have not seen or heard anyone in my locality that as corona virus talkless of symptoms. So my brother's and sisters corona virus in Nigeria is a scam 1 Like 1 Share |

But how do we live with it and manage it when 70% of Nigerians claim there's no coronavirus in the country? Ur point is valid but I wish people could see behind the politics in the era Razzness: 2 Likes |

We went into total lockdown with less than two thousand cases. But with over twenty seven thousand cases, we've relaxed almost all the lockdown. Have we learnt to live with the virus, or we are just copying other nations.? 1 Like |

sd4841676:Something intriguing though about the black race and Covid-19 which I am yet to fathom. In South Africa, US, Brazil and other nations outside Africa, it is reported that huge percentage of Covid-19 fatality comes from the black population. And yet the reverse is the case in Nigeria and much of Africa which is home to the black race. What may be responsible for this puzzle? I will certainly appreciate your thoughts on this subject. 1 Like |

SirWarlock:Do you notice dear that the world recorded it's HIGHEST daily cases yesterday, a whopping 208,000+ new cases with the US, INDIA and SOUTH AFRICA recording their highest daily tally too. It seems the pandemic is rather gaining strength. It would seem the last has not been heard about this virus. Africa now records nearly same number of cases daily as Europe, although this figure is largely shut by South Africa and Egypt. Cameroon has not reported for the past few days, hope all is well or they have simply given up. I see that happening in some African countries going forward because the cost of managing this pandemic is not sustainable in the long run. The world is in a deep shit, and not much is being done to call China out for a serious talk or have their economy abandoned to them. Sad really. 1 Like |

Investnow2017:While a large of that can be attributed to the Americas, it's worrying for South Africa tbh. I feel like another wave in Europe could hit again cos this thing just finds a way to spread. According to what I read somewhere an epidemic of this sort might require a 2 months+ strict lockdown and no country will be able to sustain that socially and economically. Africa might have to carry on with 'no test no case' principle unless a miraculous bailout arrives . I think so many African countries are still on the 'it's not for us train' . Nigeria here we just seem clueless . Like there's nothing stopping us from becoming a world hot-spot down the line and the PTF know this Funny thing with this china thing is she and her neighbors were able to get a hold of it on time , Europe was the real distributor of this problem . |

We need to keep beating this trend, it's the first time since the nightmare started that we have more number of discharged patients than the new in patients. That is a start to flattening the curve. |

PoliteActivist: Then who are they testing? For how long do they have to wait before getting their result? In the case of them being positive and they can't have their result instantly, then their families are already at risk |

UDUJ: No test kit because the FG stop funding, the method they’re using is 6 questions about the symptoms + temperature check. If you have 2/6 and temperature is below 37, you are negative. If you have 4/6, 5/6,6/6 + temperature upto 37,38,39 they consider it positive. Next is isolation for 14days , (must) after 14days you will be discharged with certificate without positive or negative on it. Lol you know this covid borrowed malaria symptoms . With the new method the number will be on the high side. The truth is that there’s covid in Nigeria. But the FG can’t manage it anymore. |
