The hope of many Nigerians applying for openings in the N-Power scheme by the Federal government lies on the edge as reports reaching us has it the most of the slots available have been gifted by the minister of Humanitarian Affairs – Sadiya Umar Farouk to politicians in the house of representative and Senate for political propagation.

According to a reliable source who uncovered the development, some senators and representatives were given as much as 250, 200 and 150 slots each. The diversion of these openings is to enable each benefiting politician an avenue to enhance their popularity in constituencies using the slots as a cloak.

Just recently, Minister of State for Labour and Employment.– Festus Keyamo, in a related development, was embroiled in an argument with members of the House of Senate during an interactive session, in which the minister accused the Senators of trying to hijack a planned Federal government scheme which aimed at empowering 774,000 Nigerians who will be engaged in community services within a period of three months.
