The Delta State Police Command has arrested 10 suspects in connection with the killing of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), William Agboghoroma. Charles Muka, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the command, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Asaba that the suspects were arrested on Saturday at Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area. NAN reports that the late Agboghoroma, who was in charge of Obiarukku Police Division, was killed on Jan. 22 by suspected armed robbers during a shoot-out between the police and the criminals. Muka said: ``We have arrested the major suspects in the killing of the DPO. This brings the number of those arrested so far to 10, and they are all male. ``The suspects have made confessional statements that are useful to the police and they will soon be charged to court.''
