As we hope the money would be used for that purpose, we pray the work to be done on the renovations and roads are not poorly done or below standard, but durable and serve its purpose.

How many times will they approve billions of naira for road construction, still nothing to show.
Bad roads everywhere, even the one they claim they constructing still looks like unfinished project.

. I wonder what Fashola is doing as the minister of works and housing regarding the deplorable condition of Lagos-Abeokuta road which harbours Salolo, Adura, Kaso Kola, Moshalashi to roll gate. These bus stops are totally in deplorable state to the extent that with time vehicles will no longer be plying that route again. Please, do something! That road is a Federal road and Lagos State has nothing to do with it except they want to construct it in anticipation of a refund from you.

The first one was to aid the completion of the Enugu – Lokponta section of the Enugu – Port Harcourt highway, it was augmentation of existing contract by N25bn, the council approved that augmentation. “The second memorandum was the award of three different roads.

I was thinking that two of the most vital roads in Lagos: The Lagos-Badagry Expressway and the Apapa-Oworonsoki Expressway will be included to quicken the completion of those roads in order to give the much needed relief to Lagosians.

It's possible that there was is a foreign component involved in the construction of the road and the increase in the exchange rate has increased it's cost.
It's also possible that the ongoing Covid scourge has led to increase in overhead costs, such as labour, as the workers and project consultants concerned might have been paid during the two months when there was a total lockdown of the economy, and no work was done on the project
