okeyglm: If this is phase1, what will animal trial be called, this is phase 2(if a vaccine is successful on human trial with respect to haematological, biochemical and pathological changes then it just needs validation by Regulation bodies) . The next phase will be validation by the FDA or WHO, after their review of both statistical analysis and experimental workup. It will now go into Market survey and follow up of the vaccine on the receipient.. Then if any untoward effect is noticed then it can be modified or withdrawn... Atleast appreciate this achievement small 6 Likes |

Fasindo:Do Nigerian herbal medicine makers have access to covid19 samples to test their vaccines against? What happened to those that submitted their presumed cure to the Nigerian Health Ministry for evaluation? Didnt the Nigerian Health Ministry just dumped their work and decide to wait for cure from bigger countries like UK, US, Russia etc? So, who is to blame? |

I pity the Africans that will volunteer to be used as guinea pigs to test the vaccines. How come 40 years after the man made Hiv Aids virus and 30 million dead Africans later they told us it was impossible to make a vaccine but this virus has a vaccine already less than a year |

Didnt the Nigerian Health Ministry just dumped their work and decide to wait for cure from bigger countries like UK, US, Russia etc? To them, those countries meet WHO standards, so every other person trying is only wasting his or her time. Did we even hear anything about the outcome of the Madagascan cure sent to Nigeria, it it was even tried or not? So, who is to blame? |

Best example of LET YOUR RESULT SPEAK FOR YOU. Unlike a country, today we go hear, OOU has cure, tomorrow we go hear Abia native doctor has the cure, next tomorrow we go here, they are awaiting the arrival of a plane from Madagascar unto herbal matter. |

NewDelhi:USA any day and time remains the most powerful. Ur enemy(Russia) should have more to dismantle u(USA) cuz they plan u all day. Militarily, economically, politically, technologically, etc USA over Russia except Medically. Russian scientists and medicines are 5&6. Besides, US was taken unaware and even the "Medically inclined India"is affected. 2 Likes 1 Share |

olaboy33: Oh you got it all mixed up. There's nothing like a "curative" or "preventive" vaccine. Vaccine is an immune component designed to protect the body against infection. So it can be said to provide preventive treatment. Hence, vaccine is not offered as treatment for an ongoing infection but given to people who are not yet infected to protect them against subsequent infection with a pathogen. I hope you get it now...
