Our Daily Manna Ministry has begun a 14 days prayer and fasting session Which will run through the 12th of July to 25th July 2020 in over 190 nations. The theme for this year's program is "THE INCREDIBLE GOD: DRY BONES MUST LIVE AGAIN". Ezekiel 37:1-14.


Participants are expected to connect online, on facebook and instagram, due to the ongoing pandemic. Prayers will be specifically made to address the Covid-19 pandemic and other vital areas of our lives.


Speaking about this year's prayer and fasting program, Bishop Chris E Kwakpovwe, the renowned publisher of Our Daily Manna Devotional said:

The theme of this year fasting program is specially designed by heaven to position us as overcomers in this season of crisis and hopelessness forced on the world and the body of Christ by the ranging corona virus pandemic. God saw you and His church in the midst of this trying time when he revealed this theme to His servant sometime last year! He is sending me to remind you again that He is the incredible God and every dry bone in your life shall live again!


There is no doubt that many people today among us even in the church of Christ are feeling dead in many areas of their lives. They feel dead in their career, marital story, businesses, finances, emotions, dreams and aspirations, spiritual life etc.


These feeling of deadness may have been there for some time now but the current hopelessness caused in many quarters by the covid-19 pandemic have further worsen these feeling. There is however good news for you today because every deadness and dryness in your life shall live again in Jesus name . That is why this fasting program is specially designed for you.



Our basic scripture mentioned above is a fascinating passage from the book of Ezekiel. In this passage, in verse 11, the bones cry out “our hope is gone, we are cut off”. Have you ever felt like that? Cut off from hope or from help or cut off from the source of life? Many of us can relate with that feeling! At the inception of the year God promised us “Divine Elevation”.



We were hopeful and full of dreams and big plans to fulfill this promise but just within three months into the year everything came to standstill and it looks as if the promises, hopes and aspirations have evaporated. Many felt and are still feeling like fishes out of water gasping for breath for survival with no visible help nearby.



But God is sending me to assure you this day that help is nearer than you can imagine. He says just hold on and look up to me. He is telling you to hope again, dream again and don’t let your trust in Him waiver. That is why you must be part of this fasting program because He is set to turn your story around.
