What is a GEEP loan


GEEP means Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program, it is a program that was established by Federal Government of Nigeria to assist Nigerians and remove them from poverty by providing interest- free loans to them. Anybody can apply for this loan so far you are a Nigerian and you have all the requirements that will be listed below.

Requirements to apply for GEEP

No Educational qualifications is required

You can apply with your National identify card or voters card.

You must be a Nigerian

You must have an existing business located in Nigeria, small scale business to be precision.

You must ready to pay back the loan
Category of GEEP Loan


Trader Money: this is for all business owners that need more capital to increase their business or if you just start your own business, you can apply for this Category so far you are a Nigerian with existing business location.

Market Money: this category is for all market people that need interest-free free loans to increase their business,

Farmers Money: this category is for Nigerian farmers to borrow capital to invest it on their Agricultural and pay back after harvest their products.

Npower Loan: this category is in progress for all batch A and batch B Npower Beneficiaries that are going out to borrow Upto 300,000 to Start their own business.
How you can apply for GEEP Loan
GEEP loan is interest-free loans that is between N10,000 to N300,000. You can only borrow Upto N300,000 in a graduating scale of N10,000; N20,000; N50,000; N100,000; and N300,000.
How to pay back GEEP Loan
When beneficiaries take a loan of N10,000 and pay back, he will be automatically qualify for the next higher amount, which is N20,000. When he pay back N20,000, he will be automatically qualify for N30,000 till he reaches the maximum amount which is N300,000.

All Npower Beneficiaries should wait for the Minister of Humanitarian affairs to Announce how they will register for this upcoming GEEP loan for them to start their own business.
