Maybe if a Fulani man head NDDC, our brain go reset.

What's the usefulness of those Niger Delta militants, can't they just go to NDDC headquarters and bomb them?

I dey vex self angry
The so called militants actually get their fair share of those funds. The black man is largely useless to himself.

This is unbelievable, I condemn it, I condemn it, the NDDC should be scrapped now.

We can never progress in this country. This is wickedness.

The SE claiming marginalisation yet their leaders squander there common wealth.

Give the SE Biafra today and watch it crumble in just two months.

He said the commission claimed to have spent N1.3bn on community relations, N122.9m on condolences, N83m on consultancy and N3.14bn on COVID-19, N486m Duty Travel Allowance, N790.9m as imprest, N1.956bn on Lassa Fever, N900m on Legal Service, N220m on maintenance, N85.6m on foreign travels, N1.121bn on public projects communication, N744m on security, N8.8bn on staffing-related payment. He said the NDDC also spent N248m on stakeholders’ engagement from February 18 to May 31, 2020.

This is a Grand Incorporated Systematic Pillage of the Commonwealth of the State/Region with impunity.

You won't believe that with all the money that NDDC has been spending since its creation they're still operating from a rented building.
They abandoned their uncompleted head office for over 4 years...
All roads constructed by NDDC in Rivers State are shams that are been washed away by rain.
Now we can see that the main problem of the Niger Delta are our brothers and sisters stealing what is meant for our development.

As a Niger Deltan this is disheartening to read.

Walking true my community I know wat just 1billion Naira will do to alleviate peoples plight, but to spend 81billion without impacting lives.

Well, I think we should review how people access funds and appropriate such in this country, individuals have so much power, power that should be given to institutions.

Well, if you are behind the suffering of another person rest assured your time to reckon with your maker will come, u will surely give account.

Half of the fund was what was used in developing the North. You will never see anyone from ND condemning their kleptomaniac sons and daughters.

Like I always say, you can hand out the whole oil back to ND and the whole place will still look like a slum. Their sons and daughters will do worse than their masters the Fulani. A reasonable government should ban alcohol sale in the ND. May be the indigenes would then have time for introspection.

Imagine what N81bn could do for a society if they use direct labour. Ask the nearest person from Niger Delta, s/he will tell you that Igbo people are their problem. Really? grin grin grin
The indigenes of Niger Delta do not want development. They love the sorry state of the zone so that they can use it to play victims. If contractors are sent in, they find every excuse and avenue to frustrate their work.
