1. Surely Asaba has Igala paternity by the name Onoja Oboni (called Onojobo in Asaba)
2. The name of their Igbo mother is Diaba from Nteje in Onitsha. Diaba has earlier married an Igala Prince, born 4 children for him. The Igala Prince died after she born 4 for him. He didn't live long. Those 4 children founded Illah.
3. Diaba met Onojobo when she was ill as she was told Onoja Oboni can heal her. Onojobo actually healed her but got her pregnant in the process.
4. She gave birth to Nnebisi at Nteje not when she was staying with Onoja Oboni, that's why the boy had Igbo name and not Igala name
5. The boy's name is not Nnebuisi but *Nnebisi* which is a shortened form of ka anyi nebe isi nke a (let’s watch and see what this one becomes in future)
6. Nnebisi had many experience at Nteje which made him sought for his paternal land.
7. When he got there, he noticed that the sign giving to him by the oracle happened and he said "AHABA M"
That's how the word Ahaba which later changed to Asaba came to be

Why don't you stick to your 5 eastern states and leave out the disputing states. The other thread was about celebs who are not yorubas but mistaken for yorubas due to their romance with the culture. I think another should be created for Igbos.
