In the next three to four years, Oyo state will face the kind of debt crisis that osun state faced uder Aregbesola. Unfortunately, the government will squander the loan with little or nothing to show for it at the end of he day.

Naaa,Oyo won't.. Guess if you live in Ibadan you can see Ibadan is growing day by day and government needs to build up for later years..By the time the Lagos Ibadan rail is in use,People will live in Ibadan and work in lagos.if you notice Ibadan is already getting more populated and the night life in Ibadan is just beside that of Lagos in the SW..Apart from Lagos in the SW Ibadan is the next place to be.

Oyo state cannot be like Osun because Osun is a dead state..They only need a capitalist Govornor to change the fortunes of the state and not like a socialist like aregbesola.

Despite the fact that Ajimobi has his shortcomings,He did some Infrastructure in Ibadan,Ibadan only ni o and not much part of Oyo state..while seyi is also building on it

Osun is dead, but one single administration in Osun state delivered more infrastructures than all Oyo state governors combined since 1999.

Oyo state's debt is already N146 billion

N146 billion + N100 billion = N246 billion

@ N246 Billion, Oyo state is the 3rd state with the largest debt profile in Nigeria after Lagos and Rivers state.

Osun state's debt N141 billion

With Osun state's N141 billion, they still delivered more infrastructures than Oyo state since 1999.

Osun state has better index like lowest unemployment and lowest poverty rate in Nigeria unemployment, something Oyo state can only dream of.

read my post again. This time 100 times. I'm not arguing that Oyo state is not in debt..

I simply told you that you were wrong about infrascture. That osun did more than all Oyo governor since 1999. Which is not only wrong, but the debt profile you are brandishing also proved it. Which Is why I cancelled the post I disagreed with.

Ajimobi dwarfed all sw governors from 2011 except Lagos when it comes to infrastructure and fdi.

Not taking anything away from argbesola on infrascture. But it is what it is.. it is that single reason why he became the only two time governor in history of oyostate despite the fact that they don't like him as a person or the way he talks that much.

Audio Makinde

40billion loan from UBA and FirstBank in just a year without anything to show for it... Absolutely nothing innuagurated

Another 100 billion loan in form of bonds with interest

Oyo State Federal Allocation 3 billion , IGR 2.7 billion

I trust PDP people to hail him as usual, after all Ikpeazu also has massive supporters... Ask them simple question of showing any ongoing projects valued at 40 billion they start blabing

*Anyways I like his Tax proposer... All houses are already being captured and stickers placed to identify them for "building tax" you either pay or get your house locked

*All cormercial Drivers and motorcycle riders now pay Makinde Tax daily and Thug Auxillary Levy

*Announcements have being made that all artisans , shop owners, and traders would be served 7 days to pay Tax or face conciquences

when Banks and creditors start deducting 80% of the Allocation, civil servants would understand the calamity about to befall them, when you are made to pay different tax you may think of holding Makinde accountable

.

This looks suspicious, because:
1. Ibadan airport is owned by the FG
2. There's no such thing as Ogbomoso-Iseyin Road. There's federal road from Ogbomoso to Oyo, then a state road from Oyo to Iseyin.

You are just blowing hot air, I stand by my comment, why not just prove me wrong and let's compare, accept my challenge and stop being a coward.

You are free to defend whatever mediocrity you are defending in Oyo state to justify debt with nothing in return, but don't throw Osun in the mix by saying Osun is dead, the only dead state I see is Oyo state, a big for nothing state about to be the 3rd largest debtor state in Nigeria with nothing to show.

Now the new clueless and goofy governor is collecting more debt to fund FG projects, especially the dry port that the FG already budgeted and currently spending money on.

From Akala to the current governor, they are all useless and incompetent.

I am a proper Oyo State guy but I can tell you that Osun state is not dead.

Aregbesola did an all round development in that state. Yes, he borrowed a lot but we can at least see the infrastructures he built with the funds.

Yes, Ajimobi also tried in Nigeria and I am sure he is the best we have had since 1999. Lam Adesina, Ladoja, and Akala don't come close to Ajimobi i terms of project.

Makinde is a set-back to Oyo State. Just gove Oyo folks (especially Ibadan) one more year, and you will see them turn their backs on Makinde if he keeps threading the path pf non-project.

Ajimobi in 8years could not do that road..It was in the twilight of his administration that he awarded it knowing fullly well that they are about to get a beating in the polls in Iseyin and environs.

When they did the yeye awarding, for about two months nothing was done..not one single bulldozer on ground yet the road was awarded for 7Billion..Seyi came and cancelled it and had it reawarded..More wider and more thicker than before with Kopek construction handling the construction.
God bless you..the dunce you quoted is really a pained nonentity.

Lol..I laugh when you want to bring stories without facts..I repeat Osun is a dead state with massive unemployment where people's salaries are not paid..A civil servant and artisan state with little or nothing working. You can drive for 30 mins and not see a single person when people of the state are abroad living in viable states like Lagos and Ibadan..They don't stay at home because there is nothing there at all..

Osun is only better than Ado Ekiti and nothing else in the southwest..It is the second most indebted state in the SW apart from Lagos..I mean how can a dead state like that owe more money than Oyo or Ogun state..Go to OAU for example and have a feel..The sitting of OAU in Ife does not even have a foothold of the town..See Agbowo to UI,Poly Ibadan to Apete and Environs.GeJ established new universities and took the one in Bayelsa to Otueke so that it can have a turnaround..but that is not the one of Ife,The state is dead and all they have is light which they have not even made use of at all..

They need a capitalist Govornor that will bring in Industries where there is land and power, but no na socialist government them go dey do..Oyetola is currently fighting with aregbesola because he is finding it difficult to work under the weight of unnecessary debts.. Below is the link to see the debt una yeye poor state who much una dey owe..
