Drug addiction is very rampant in in Nigeria today especially among young people. This menace coupled with high rate of unemployment is a ticking time bomb.

What is the root cause of drug addiction?
What are the most commonly abused drugs in Nigeria?
Which region is drug abuse most prevalent?
Are their some prescription drugs that directly or indirectly contribute to drug addiction?
How can we ameliorate this situation and prevent it from fast spreading in our society?

Unemployment is the biggest killer of youth. How many people u don hear say igbo kill? But can u count the number that die of porverty? Or those that suffer depression an commit suicide? Or those that die because they cannot afford proper health care service?
I believe that if the youth are gainfully employed we will have a drastic reduction in the number of drug addicts.
