I know Corel Draw is a powerful tool to work on pictures but i unfortunately dont know how to work with it. I know with corel draw one can even remove an unwanted background leaving the image alone. I would be grateful if someone could help me.

i think what you want to do is use a tool called shape tool. i'm sure what ur tutor as tot u is d right way cos u r actualing foin to trace d pix out but this time what u need to do to smoothin d edges is EITHER 1. select a sharp node (i.e a point created by the shape tool), right click the node and then choose curve from the dialog box options OR 2. this is what i do which i think its more effective, create a new node right before and anoda node right after the node u want to turn to curve, select the 3-nodes now and hit delete, it will smoothen up automatically. it then gives u to handles that u can use as control over the curve. i hope u get it, let us know if u still ve questions.

NOTE: be careful when u are making ur nodes around the pix (or tracing the pix out), try to keep each nodes as close to each oda as possible, it will help your output greatly.

There are numerous resources online, on computer village, from me too, so start learning oooo. start by learning the interface, then basic polygon modeling, then advanced.

hey bro, sounds like wot u seek, is a good paying job and not particularly one in the 3d world.

I know our economy doesnt seem to encourage this, but my only advice would be:
seek training in a field u have a flair/knowledge of, and in a line of work that u ENJOY! U sound clueless and not particularly passionate about ur proposed field at d moment.

Employment is not guaranteed in any sector, so that shouldnt be ur focus when searching for a field of study.
Let ur interests, abilities, skills and the certainty of job fulfilment guide you in making the choice of a career path, or u may end up as professionally frustrated inspite of any cash in the bank. This is d case for millions in our workforce.

Well, art is my line and i enjoy doing it. i am good at using photoshop and illustrator. i just wanted to advance and start using maya and 3ds max because of modelling and rendering stuff. so thats why i need an advice from someone in the 3d field so that he could enlighten me, before i embark on the journey. once again thanks for the response

Good evening, I have seen someone before extracting a signature from a scanned document, a signature was signed on brown paper and this guy extracted the signature and put it on a white background and the brown paper didn't show. I want to know how this was possible because I need to use my signature on a form on the computer. I will appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

NB: I have tried something like embossed and the signature was able to, if this can happen, I suppose to be able to remove the background and be able to change the color of the traced embossed line. Please help I need one day more to complete the form. Thanks
