The Jehovahs Witnesses started out as a Bible Students Organization. Their leader was Charles Taze Russell, who sincerely studied the Bible with others with an open mind.

After his death a man named Rutherford seized control of this organization and there was a split. He renamed it Jehovahs Witnesses and named himself generalissimo. From there he made sure he had complete control.

This organisations from then on continued to spit out false prophesies. During the time of the first president if there is a mistake a sincere apology would be made but today, they blame false prophesies on the followers. Sometimes they say the followers did not understand them.

These false prophesies made them have a significant drop in 1975. Now many persons are tired of the tight monitoring of members, many man made rules that are made to control members, Sale of kingdom halls paid by congregations were sold out and anyone who questioned was thrown out.

Shunning was also a law they made that made many persons to leave the organization. Many persons are leaving the organization in America and Canada because of the things.

I am studying the Bible with this group https://beroeans.net/ they are into debunking falsehood and still upholding Bible truth. Meanwhile the original Bible students formed by Russell still exist. They are against war and other vile things.

Many persons that left the organization are now atheist but many are still Christians shunning war and othe vices. You can learn more from the website I provided above. I started attending a regular church. I don't believe everything they teach but I attend for fellowship.

For Jehovah's Witnesses to marry or not to marry a fellow Christian (not denomination) is solely based on what their currently belief as set forth by their religious hierarchy. They can claim from now till tomorrow that it's the bible blablabla. But when all is done and dusted, it's based on the current edict of their religious leaders. If the leader changes their mind, 8m people also changes their mind.

In the months leading to my awakening from the group, an elder in one of the congregations I attended said to members that when they are preaching to outsiders, they have to preach what is there in the bible, then enforces the point by saying, not just what they see in the bible but it has to harmonise with what the religion (they call it organisation) teaches.

This indoctrination crystallises their mind. That is why if you are talking with one of them, and what he is saying clearly contradicts what the bible says, its like a veil covers his eyes from seeing it. He will argue, jumped from one point to another so as not to see what is clearly stated there in. But to know his mindset, just ask him what he will do if his religion start teaching the same thing in the future, that's when you will realise the truth. That these people are men's followers. They are idolaters.

We didn't join Jehovah's organization because we were feeling hungry or we needed money, as many of us are contended with what we have.
