Sharia police should be sent to fight Boko Haram,
All they know is to arrest people selling beer, the same thing Boko Haram does.

Since 2015 the Chief of Army Buratai an indigene from Borno has not been able to muster all the resources of the Nigerian Army to defeat Boko Haram. If he can't do the job he should resign

So sorry brother for the loss, i can give few tips that will help the soildiers.

They may or may have not done some of these tips.
I did like you to relay it to the appropriate command.

* The Nigerian Army should gain the trust of the residents in the areas of operation.

*Any form of maltreatment and extortion by the military personnel will only breed hatred and this means more danger to the troops.
When a troop is an enviroment, they should never no matter the reason extort or maltreatment the residents, these are the main soildiers but the Army has failed to know this.
THE RESIDENTS can help the army win or lose the war.

*Info should be withheld from the troops till the last minute of departure, the troops should not be briefed ahead where they are going but can be told whT their mission is.
The location should be last min,if this is strictly adhered to,it will go a long way to reduce sabotage and ambush.

*Its really dangerous to go to the front with men that dont want to go,its safer to go with a handful ready for combat with high morale than to go with multitudes who are grumbling with low morale, defeat is sure.

*Army life is not all about been serious or looking mean cos bullet will still enter body and the soildier will die.

A psycologist should be given to every unit in the command(a woman should be included).

* The bad eggs amongst the soildiers should be interogated and get to know what transpired, diplomacy and psychology are important tools the military should apply when neccessary.

*The army should bring out money to pay residents who will be giving them info on the movements of boko haram.

*Lastly the soildiers ahouldnt be together within a very short distance btw them when under attack,i have seen real clips our troops were almost touching eachothers shoulder while returning fire, there should be distance cos this will limit causalties. As grenade or RPG is fired on them.

You may know these and others i didnt mention, but i doubt the Army really applies this.

Stay Strong.

batstan:
Best approach!
The officers are compromising and sabotaging the entire operation for their selfish gain.

Defence should carry out a massive redeployment of officers within the region ASAP.

Just buried a brother in arms,
Morale is low but,
Victory is sure.

Bad eggs are being discovered frequently,
The end is near!
