Edo Election: Obaseki Has Seen His Defeat - John Mayaki by kahal29: 8:22am On Aug 01
The All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Organisation for the Edo State governorship election, has described the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, as a confused man merely projecting the criminal plans his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are perfecting.

The APC campaign said it was dawning realization for the PDP that they have been rejected by the people of Edo State.

The APC said that it is the only party campaigning on its documented manifesto because of it sole strategy to win the election is by winning the hearts and goodwill of the people through well-thought-out programs and policies that will bring relief and erase the failures of the past four years.

This was contained in a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST by Prince John Mayaki, Chairman, Edo State APC Media Campaign Council

“Despite spending four years in office, Obaseki has neither achievements nor plans to show,” the statement added.

“He is campaigning largely on empty rhetorics, revisionism, and shameful blackmail and propaganda.

“Election may be weeks away but the truth has finally dawned on Obaseki. He is on his way to a sound, comprehensive defeat so like all failures, he is already preparing the grounds for his defeat with false, ridiculous accusations.

“He is also trying to deflect attention while himself and his party, already renowned for violence, continue to ferry thugs and cultists into the State to rig the election.

“But he will be resisted. Together with our people, we are going to keep watch and ensure the votes to return Obaseki to where he came from are protected and made to count.”

Obaseki should remain focus, APC are parasites causing unnecessary distractions, on that day good people of Edo State will finally fumigate Kabaka and his godfather Oshiomhole out of South South forever.

One thing I know about Edo election is that it is never going to be free, fair and credible election.

As it stands now, the odds favours Ize Iyamu because of federal might.

Obaseki is not a Saint though, but he's going to get pity votes from the people.

May the best rigger win.

All I know is that it is God alone that gives victory, no matter how you try, if you don't give God the necessary glory, believe me, you can't win in life.

And once you have been given the victory by God, it is now left to you to treat the people in your care right, based on how victorious you are.

Anyways, I'm still in the market like a footballer, please some company should come and sign me cheesy

Obaseki has seen his defeat? I laugh with open teeth like Buhari kiss

If indeed APC is convinced of winning the Edo State gubernatorial election, why resorting to calling eligible voters in Benin City via their mobile phones and soliciting for their votes? This is an act of desperado that will not change the minds of the good people of Edo State. They have decided! The right choice is Obaseki. Oshiomhole is marketing a bad product, a thief as Ize Iyamu. tongue

Oshiomhole is an evil man himself. Should Ize Iyamu win, God forbid bad thing he will still fight him dirty and the State will suffer for it. We say NO TO GODFATHERISM IN EDO STATE.

Verdict: Ize Iyamu should sue Oshiomole for character assassination. Secondly why has Ize Iyamu camp stop calling Oshiomole "Emperor Oshiomole" like in 2016? Did he get dethroned?

Together we can make Nigeria better

Jeeeeezzz.
This is mere APC noise!
Even if it happens it shouldn't come as a surprise since his rival gave him a good run for his money even without the support of Oshiomhole, then.

This Kahal again

And the MOD that keeps on pushing your Edo politics topics that promotes that cultist who will never become governor leaves much to be desired.

One thing is sure

A cultist will never become governor of Edo state

Someone Oshiomole called a thief will never become governor of Edo state

It's pretty surprising and amazing that Nairalanders who are not living in Edo state keep on making various political comments about a political environment they know nothing about.
Political sentiments is different from reality.

Let's all enjoy this game of intense political chess.

In politics and life, do not overestimate yourself and NEVER underestimate your enemy.

John Mayaki, shut up!!!

I gave up the little hope I had in APC when they fielded the same Ize Iyamu they claimed was too criminal minded to be given an ordinary post!!!

You have convinced the people, so how will the people want to vote for a thief over night except you want to rig the election undecided

We have seen elections conducted by APC and many of us can paint the scenario even before it takes place!

Thugs, military men snatching ballot boxes, usage of federal might e.t.c

So please shut up and concentrate on your rigging plans!

Either Obaseki wins or not, he will be remembered for putting up a fight to end godfatherism!
