Yippeedaniel: E get as e be. You see some of them saying it is rumours lies and false stories to downplay it. When they can go as far as denying what was written in their publications. Then one can only expect the unexpected. Even prominent members amongst them are FAKES going by their comments here. The reason you see them coming here to say they look upon their fellow brothers and sisters with SUSPICION because some of them are Hypocrites aka FAKES. 1 Like |

Yippeedaniel: Please the highlighted is enough because i'm nothing beside millions of my brothers and sisters throughout the world, don't single out Max as someone special, i'm just Maximus one of Jehovah's Witnesses! So your first sentence "All JWs are fake" is enough for all of us globally, it's just that you don't care about God's word otherwise i would have begged you (on my knees) to present a better performing group than Jehovah's Witnesses because that has always been my song! |

People who have hurt others in the past due to circumstances beyond their control or out of ignorance will surely be resurrected. MaxInDHouse: This reads - I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 1. How do you read the words "keep away from them?" 2. Does it suggest to you excommunication from fellowship? 3. Do you believe that such should form grounds for the division and break-up of families? For example, if that person is a spouse, do you "keep away from them?" Do you shun them? If that person is a parent, do you shun them? 4. Do you recognize the potential for cult-like fanaticism in this? Do you recognize that shunning others was a standard practice of many of the most dangerous cults in history? 5. Do you recognize the potential for religious intolerance in this? In the sense that if you are to "keep away" from people who think differently from you in terms of religion, then you probably should not associate with people of other faiths. 6. How would you feel if people of other faiths "shunned" you for being a JW? 7. How can you show Christian love to a shunned person? John 1:10-11 This reads - He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. What does this have to do with shunning? |

DeepSight: Jesus never used physical sword against anyone neither did he support using it but he clearly stated that he did not come for peace {Matthew 10:34-39} perhaps you should tell me what he meant in those verses if not causing division in the families! My friend, it's either you're for Jesus or against him, so choose to be with Jesus and see the reality of what Jesus said. That's what we are practicing among Jehovah's Witnesses! 1 Like |

Read the following Scriptures carefully and try to be objective in your reasoning, can you do that ? Romans 16:17 “Now I urge you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who create divisions and causes for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.” 1Corinthians 5:11 “But now I am writing you to stop keeping company with anyone called a brother who is sexually immoral or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.” 2John 9-11 “Everyone who pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God. The one who does remain in this teaching is the one who has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For the one who says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works.” Do you believe that the first century Christians were cultists to have laid down such rules ? Honestly, I don’t think your problem is with the Witnesses. Actually, your case should be against the Bible itself but you’re using the critique of Witnesses as a smokescreen. To many people, the Bible is a bag filled with jellybeans and gravel, so they try to select the ones that are enticing to them and leave the ones that doesn’t sit right with them. But that’s different when it comes to Jehovah’s Witnesses because we accept all the 66 books of the Bible as inspired of God so every part must be considered in our worship. 2Timothy 3:16 DeepSight: 2 Likes 1 Share |

You and your religious organisation are the only ones restoring true worship all over the world 4. Don't you love those motivational speech from Jesus and the 144,000 Jesus who cannot guarantee you spiritual food free of poisons. |

DeepSight: That's what you get from people whose view of scriptures should be seen from the BIFOCAL LENSE of their religious leaders who said cannot guarantee them spiritual foods free of poisons. This reads - I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them Rephrased...... This reads - I urge you, brothers and sisters(Jehovah's witnesses) , to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned from our religious leaders aka Governing bodies(regardless of what Jesus says). Keep away from them. 1 Like |

DappaD: If its a biblical teaching, one must say it is definitely not a Christ-like teaching. The teachings of Jesus stand in contradistinction to this Pauline fundamentalist discriminatory intolerance. This is not different from the worst sort of Nazi antisemitism. There is no way Jesus would have supported this sort of hate-preachment. 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: Jesus' prime teaching was love. Even for enemies. I therefore cannot imagine the man who said "let he who has not sinned cast the first stone" - supporting this sort of radical fundamentalist intolerance. |
Re: Fifteen Basic Beliefs You Didn't Know About Jehovah's Witnesses by DappaD: 9:56pm On Dec 02, 2021 |
DeepSight: Paul was commissioned by Jesus to take the good news to the Gentiles (you and me) Acts 9:15 You would never have heard about about Jesus if it weren’t for Paul so how can you say that Paul is contradicting his Master ? The honest truth is that such a decisive action taken isn’t borne out of hatred for the wrongdoer because when God chastises a person, it is out of love that he does so(Proverbs 3:12) so that the person can come back to his senses. Again, there has never been discipline that is sweet and pleasant(Hebrews 12:11) but at the end of the day, when the person repents of his sin and asks God for forgiveness(Isaiah 55:7), his paths will no longer be crooked but straight again. Hebrews 12:13 There is no way Jesus would have supported this sort of Dare I say you have little or no knowledge about the man named Jesus ? You said Paul was intolerant, while Jesus was ? First of all, the word ‘intolerant’ can mean many things to different people. To some, it means someone who sees his own as the best while others false or it could mean someone who purposely hurts others who disagree with him in opinion. Well neither Jesus nor Paul was the latter. So I’ll assume by ‘intolerant’, you mean the former ? If Jesus were ‘tolerant’ as you make him seem, why did hammer on the fact that no other person could lead to God except him ? John 14:6 And that the Jewish temple was be brought to ruin after rejecting him as God’s Son ? Matthew 23:37-24:2 You also said Jesus’ preaching was about love. Good and fine. But he also said his teachings would cause divisions because people would rather prefer the reassuring lie over the truth so even family members will make sure they silence speakers of the truth. Matthew 10:34-36 To be continued. |

DeepSight: That's why you need true Christians to TEACH you what Jesus taught otherwise you will be totally confused when someone inquisitive ask you what Jesus meant here: Do not think I came to bring peace to the earth; I came to bring, not peace, but a sword. For I came to cause division, with a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Indeed, a man’s enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever has greater affection for father or mother than for me is not worthy of me; and whoever has greater affection for son or daughter than for me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not accept his torture stake and follow after me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:34-38 If you want us to TEACH you we will because it's the work we are assigned to do but if you're not interested there's no problem! |
