If the insurgents had no regard for presence of his convoy they would not think twice to force him into abduction and use the advantage to demand political and monetary concessions.

Was it not this same bokoharam that warned the President not to dare a repeat visit to Maiduguri?

Their attack on the convoy proved two things.

1. Bokoharam possesses a level of intelligence that is far much ahead of the entire Nigerian Intelligence Operation Squad.

2. They possess a quick and resourcefull tactical command.

3. Their morale and discipline outstrips that on our military side.


I wonder that there are multiple cameras recording different angles of the attack but we are unable to see bodies of the killed insurgents. Were there any killed? Just wondering....

They are not doing enough because they are not motivated.

The recent video on youtube where a soldier was complaining bitterly about the large amount of death the soldiers are experiencing. I don't think any soldier will see that video and will not vexed.

If all the general in the army are doing half of what Zulum is doing. BH will be history. He is the general of the people. The people did not elect the military. They elected him and he is the peoples' general.

Spent in the military to fight in Borno. The money is still going into the military meanwhile even if the money is judiciously used. Guns and tanks dont win wars. You need courageous men to handle them.

If i were in the counter-insurgent operation every captured bokoharam will be fed live to lions in nearby zoo, filmed and sent to bokoharam to teach lessons and demoralize them.

If you cath five, feed four live to lion, tiger, alligator....and preserve one to watch the recording. Put the film in his hand and release him back to their camp.

I guarantee you we will see defectors. Who wan enter lion cage?

The guys in the military are not happy with the president on retaining the service chiefs for that long and not allowing the flow to continue of promotion
