ATTAH'S APPOINTMENT STIRS REACTION FROM HOME FRONT

Many reputable groups and individuals in and outside the State have continued to eulogize Governor Udom Emmanuel for appointing a business mogul, philanthropist and former Governorship Candidate of the Democratic Alternative (DA); Mr Johnson Attah, as his Special Special Assistant on Projects Monitoring.


The latest commendation came from the Family Head and the entire Atung Usoro family in Ikot Obio Akwa, Ukpum Minya Clan in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, where Mr Attah hails from.

However, before venturing into active politics, the appointee, married with children has been a successful business man recording great feats in the South Western part of the Country.


Speaking at the reception ceremony held in his honour at his Community compound, the Village Head, Ikot Obio Akwa, Eteidung Simon Akpan Usen, said the new Governor's aide is "a competent, capable and true son of the soil with in-depth understanding of the real issues affecting not just his immediate environment, but the society at large."



The monarch, who was flanked by other traditional rulers, appreciated Governor Udom Emmanuel for finding Mr Attah worthy of being appointed into the crucial position to serve his government and the people.


Other speakers including the Family Head of the appointee, Chief Usoro Ekanem Mbo, Youth Leader, Inemesit Anthony Sampson, Women Leader, Mrs Rose Brownson Akpan among others, described the aide of the governor as “a disciplined, no-nonsense and honest politician, maintaining that his appointment has clearly shown the governor as a man who appreciates integrity, discipline and hard work.


They advised Mr Johnson Attah to use his wealth of experience and capacity to support the Emmanuel administration to deliver on the electoral promises he made for Akwa Ibom people as well as the governor's Completion Agenda.


The elated aide of the governor in his response gave thanks to God Almighty for the gift of life and Governor Udom Emmanuel for finding him fit for the position.


While thanking his people for the show of genuine love and affection, Attah promised to render selfless service to his boss; the governor to take the state to an enviable height.



While eulogizing Governor Emmanuel for giving him the opportunity to serve as his Special Assistant on Project Monitoring, Attah appealed his people to continue to remain steadfast and support the State's Chief Executive.


Highpoint of the event, which was held in compliance to the health protocol on the prevention of COVID-19, was fervent prayers for the success of Governor Udom Emmanuel and those working in his government.


The event was attended by the Ikot Obio Akwa Community Council which has Chief Simon Akpan Usen as the Village Head, Chief Usoro Ekwere Inyang as Vice Chairman and Chief Simon Akpan as the Secretary and the entire council, as well as the youth, men and women groups in the community.

Special assistant and his village people are already boozing because their sons turn for National cake has come ...I really hate the mindset of Nigerians ..we celebrate and encourage corruption and later we come to complain the country is not working
