Can someone observe a fast while on a medication that can be taken without food but just requires only water to push down the medicine.?

Hope the medicine won't disqualify the fasting.

You want to take medication without eating against doctor's advice , and you're not bothered about the complications that may result ....rather you are bothered whether your God wouldn't be pissed !!?
Go ahead and fast after taking medications ...but. if anything happens to you just know you caused it ....who told you ..you have to starve yourself before your prayers can be answered ??

Hmm.. And skip the.dose? I'm caught between this two now. I actually wanted to do the fast after completion of the dose but my spirit just keeps prompting I start today... Dunno how advisable it is to defer the medication and continue afterwards. Just concerned about drug resistance and having to go for a higher strength afterwards.

Not really sick though. Just slightly sick and been on the medication only a few days before this prompting since yesterday to fast.

you know there are different kinds of fast. it must not be dry fasting since you're on medication.

God also answers without fasting but with fasting there is this huge difference in the way he answers. From personal experience.

I would have gone to Google to find help but I decided to ask this question here because I believe it a live forum where I can get response from those who have a first hand experience but Im not satisfied with what I got here as its just all confusing and suggestive. When you are assured that you are in good health, you are ready to begin your fast. Follow the guidelines in the Physical Preparations and Maintaining Nutritional Balance and Health parts of this website."
