Party officials of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Hong Local Government, Adamawa Central Senatorial District has during a reunion meeting passed a vote of confidence on the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Barr Boss Mustapha.


The LGA party Chairman, Mr Bako Iliya said the way and manner Boss is encouraging and taking the party in the state and Local Government is worthy of commendation.

According to him, the Party elder statesman has proven to be a good Nigeria since his assumption into office as SGF.

"His steadfast as a critical stakeholder and a senior team player in fighting the scourge of COVID-19 pandemic and yet serving as the SGF is demonstrating a high level of integrity, patriotism and a good loyal APC Man," Bako said

He has however shown dismayed over the serious fracas among party loyalists that led to the losing the 2019 election and vowed to reunite and take over the helms of leadership affairs in the state.

The party also in their decision to work as one have endorsed the leadership style of the Senator representing the District, Engr Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, the House of Representatives Legislator representing Gombi/Hong, Rt Hon Yusuf Yakubu Buba for keeping to the tenets of the party, which is service to humanity.

The organizer of the meeting who was a commission of Education during the administration of Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, Hon Julius K Kadala reiterated the need for reconciliation among party members from the LGA.

According to him, he called the 12 ward chairmen, and their Local officials at his residence in kwakwa'ah of Husher Zum ward in Hong LGA to stressed the need of reunion and set an agenda of taking over leadership in the area and the state at large.

Julius emphasised that a wider consultation much be reached to mend all fracas as fences that led to the party losing governorship election in 2019.

This according to him a high powered delegation will be constituted to unite all supporters of the senior stakeholders who are mostly the fuelling machines that normally cause misunderstanding between party stalwarts.
