HON. Ifeanyi FITEX Chukwudum (JP) is a nobleman driven by his desire for good governance, social justice and order. He is a Marxist, who believes in the functionalist theory of Karl Marx (1818-1882)

Born in the city of Onitsha, He hails from Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra South Senatorial Zone.

His father, Sir Gabriel Chukwudum (GE) was a devout Christian, who propagated the gospel of Christ Jesus in and around Onitsha and beyond. He single-handedly planted and provided the land where St Bath's Anglican Church Uhuobo, Okija is situated today. He was an international businessman of great repute and also a politically minded fellow. He was a great ally of Ikemba, Dim Emeka Odimegwu Ojukwu as well as a great stakeholder in the struggle for the Igbo project and independence. His mother was a teacher, housewife and later a business woman.

Hon. Don Fitex attended Premier Primary School Onitsha as well as the prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha (DMGS).

He is a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, where he bagged a bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology...finishing as the best male graduate of his set...he equally holds a masters degree in Criminology from the same University.

Hon. Fitex is an accomplished international business mogul for over 25yrs of doing business.

He is a civil rights activist, an opinion leader and also a former market union leader where he left indelible legacies, thousands of international businessmen, traders and artisans can attest to his excellent and humane leadership attributes.

In 2010 he was approached by some APGA leaders to be part of the then Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi re-election campaign committee member.

Because of his prudent and transparent management of logistics and high level of integrity and honesty displayed while performing this task, he was appointed as Justice of the Peace (JP) by the then attorney General of Anambra State.

In 2011 general elections, Hon. Fitex was the APGA candidate for Onitsha North Constituency 2 House of Assembly Election.

He was a grassroot mobilizer and ardent supporter of Mr Peter Obi all through his stay in the office as the chief executive of the State. Going forward, he was appointed Political Liaison Officer (PLO) over seeing Onitsha North Constituency 2, by His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano.

Ndi Anambra, here comes a man with the requisite academic qualification, leadership acumen, technical know-how and compassionate mind to lead Anambra state to an unprecedented level of development.
