Instead of people to criticize the kind of politics obtainable in our country people are busy talking trash.

God knows what you guys mean by "Igbo kwenu and ebano"

Most Nigerian governors are in chains, its just that the man in Abia was unfortunate to have his own pics seen. A lot of Governors did a lot to secure their positions otherwise how do you explain Alao Akala going to postrate for Adedibu during his innauguration. The last time I checked Adedibu is not the Chief Judge of Oyo State nor is he the Oba.
That is the Oyo kind of chains.

How about Celestine Omehia having to consult Soboma George (Militant) before he could have a Gauranted handover instead of consulting the State Commisioner of police. He consulted Soboma to help prevent the threat from Prince Igodo instead of police.
That is the rivers kindof chains.

People must discourage all this kind of dirty politics not associating a different connotation to it.

Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by folushola(f): 6:54pm On Jun 27, 2007
I even heard the other man performing the rituals is their Party chairman.
This is really terrible.
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by folushola(f): 6:56pm On Jun 27, 2007

Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by obong(m): 7:43pm On Jun 27, 2007
whats the big deal, real or fake. i dont see wha he is doing thats sinful or whatever
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by folushola(f): 8:46am On Jun 28, 2007
My dear, its not for anybody to judge if being in chains (as shown in the pictures) is a sin, but it is shameful, it does not portray a good image for a governor.
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by desgiezd(m): 11:50am On Jun 28, 2007
These politicians would do anything to get power. What a shame?
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by kokoA(m): 10:39pm On Jun 28, 2007
Men, that guy na nollywood actor o. See governor wear pant fa? Well if "Anold Comando" wey dey sample ass for inside film fit be governor, then my guy still try say him wear pant at least.

Seriously now, the man has made his choice to dine with the devil. But he should remember that the devil never give anything for free. Who cares if he even went nude, as far as he can deliver dividends of democracy to his people before he dies. BECAUSE HE WILL!

Fellow nairalanders, please we should not use this forum to cause another civil war in nigeria please.( A governor was seen in a shrine then what has "igbo kwenu" got to do with it?). Let us all be constructive and matured in our replies please. Tribalism should be dicouraged. To me, no igbo, no yoruba, no hausa or any ethnic group in Nigeria. We are all nigerians first. NOBODY HOLY PASS!
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by BlackMamba(m): 3:50pm On Jun 29, 2007
Assuming the pics are real. We can only condemn him if we can prove that the oath he swore is to pay allegiance to an individual rather than the people of Abia that elected him. He has every right to participate in African traditional religion if he so choose. The choice of a Christian God and and any other God is personal.
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by chidichris(m): 10:00am On Jun 30, 2007
folushola or what do you call yourself? which paper in nigeria did u read the news?
even if you call this ibo democracy, at least it is far much better than the yoruba democracy.
could you pls name the yoruba states for me so that we can analyse them one after the other.
one can rightly say that what is happening or has been happening in oyo state is far more stupid and shameful than suddan and zimbabwe.
how on earth can one leave the dirt in his eyes and work on removing that in another man's eyes.
how foolish wil they be to do such a funny thing under the nose of a camara.
you are simply an agent of fake rumours.
you should be discusing obj and his out fashioned urge to die a nigerian leader.
you shld be dumb founded with the devilish impact of Adedibu on the oyo indegens and nigeria as a whole.
you should be silent for been related and attached to the worst minister nigeria has ever prodiuced in the name of Borishade - from education to aviation and down to information and culture. you shld be thinking about the likes of Akala and Bode George, Kayode etc, Obj the worst president who in the history man had conducted the worst election ever shld send a masage to your brains instead of busying yourself with unconfirmed report/news mostly delievered from one part of the mouth.
how on earth you are the only nigerian who read the news.
where are u by the way, and could you please link us up to the pages of the newspapers like every other person does especially with sensitive news like this.
your post shows to what extent people can your their as in thinking. how on earth do u believe this kind of picture and how do u relate the person on chains with the gov of abia state and to what extent can science go to prove fake pictures.
who are the owners of the fake website? no wonder pdp sworn to do everything to re-take those states where they failed especially abia nd lagos. anyways, i want to asume you are working for pdp so go ahead and show us the "behold the new man of lagos" untill then i ask you to be a response person.
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by folushola(f): 3:51pm On Jul 02, 2007
Mr. Chidichris, with due respect and without much prejudice to your last post, i expect only sensible and objective people to reply to my post.

Now to your post, Why are you being unneccessarily hyper, i read an article in the paper, visited the website and posted what i found.
I did not intend to run down anybody from the East, igbos are my best pals, if the Pictures were those of my state gov, Agagu, i would still have posted it, if you have problems with my post, you don't have to deal with it albeit arrogantly.

Note sir, the person that conducted the worst election according to you was not just Obasanjo, it was the cheat he apointed as the person in charge.

I am in Lagos, i am not a politician or anything close, i am not a fan of PDP at all.
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by DeepSoul(f): 6:02pm On Jul 02, 2007
Okija reloaded!

@Chidichris

Why are you all touchy about this post? Abi na your brother? And even if he is, are you blind? Or do pictures lie in your part of the world?

Nothing that happens in 9ja is capable of shockin me, not anymore!
Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by Freewilly(f): 7:27am On Jul 04, 2007
So the whole thigh was just a scam to discredit the poor governor. If this was one of the Governors from any of the Yoruba states I'm sure most of the people on this thread talking all that trash would be all out criticizing the report. Shows you how far we still need to go in Nigeria. Some will even come out and say one Nigeria, Nonsense. I though the Igbos would have learned from Awolowo by now angry

Re: Behold The New Man Of Abia In Chains by oberon(m): 6:34pm On Jul 08, 2007
You guys are really something else any serious look at those pics would tell you they are computer generated a close look would show that theres no symmetry between the head and the rest of the body, simply put that is Orjis head on some other persons body, another point is that, theres a building at the back of the characters in that pic,I thought these things were done in the bush and at night, one can see that it is daylight.A governor up north once said 'you want to know things about yourself that no one in your family knows join, politics'This is another sorry attempt to hood wink the public I just hope you are not working for them, cos this is pathetic and grossly unimaginative but i guess you cant teach an old dog new tricks
