African breadfruit (UKWA) is scientifically known as Treculia afrikana. Its is a traditional natural fruit eaten for its nutritional seeds. It can be eaten as a main dish in form of porridge, can be roasted and eaten with coconut or palm kernel as snack, drank also as juice.
It helps control high sugar intake ; helps in weight loss while remaining healthy, as it contains 'healthy cholesterol' also known as weight loss cholesterol.

1. Cardiovascular health as an excellent source of potassium. It reduces blood pressure in the body and regulates the heart rate by minimising the effects of sodium.
