Buhari is really working in the South East

But they still hate him more than anything.
If we want to be honest with ourselves, PMB has done more than what has done in 16 years. Especially in the southeast.

Thank you Buhari.
God bless you.

Buhari has nothing to do with it.

Buhari also has nothing to do with the ships now docking in Onne seaport.

Maerskline insisted on taking their ships coming in from China, Singapore & Malaysia to Onne port cuz they are tired of waiting 25 days to clear their ships in Lagos ports

Hahahaha silly info.
So they can move to any port without government intervention because they own it abi?
Where were you when this government was dredging and putting so many things in place to accommodate even bigger ships in the South South and east. .

Continue fooling yourselves with this unnecessary HATRED.

Shut up.

2 million barrels of crude oil leave Onne port everyday for decades now so stop that nonsense that buhari was dredging whatever.

Maersk will leave Nigeria if ur hopeless president prevents them from docking in rivers state. Some big shipping companies have already left Nigeria and ur dullard cannot afford more to leave.

This one Na novice for maritime matter... Onne was never shut anytime and pirates don't really attack oil vessels as oil trade is done at International b2b trade level and sometimes country to country deal, however cargo ships plying Onne back then require more money from shippers for insurance that made it too expensive for your Ibo people

Now Buhari redredged River Niger channels, got transfer badge smaller ships to move on shallow waters accross river Niger, reconcessioned all river port and inland waterways port now your land Locked SouthEast can get your cargoes by rail or river port

Buhari is your boss and your hero

Daft Dumbo,SE is not landlocked and rivers state and most of delta state are igbo land.

Now the closest water way to the atlantic ocean via SE n SS is In Abia state, just 25 nautical miles from the ocean, unlike calabar, onne and Warri seaports that are 30 - 50 nautical miles away from the ocean.

'"Buhari redredged River Niger channels"

This is as stupid as it gets, buhari never ever @ any point dredged riger niger, if he puts any dredge on it, we will see it grin grin

Barges do not require any dredging before it can be used for transport in a river, they are very shallow.

''Onne was never shut anytime and pirates don't really attack oil vessels as oil trade is done at International b2b trade level and sometimes country to country deal, however cargo ships plying Onne back then require more money from shippers for insurance"

Stop saying absolutely meaningless trash.

Lmao, they thought they are dealing with East by directing all Cargoes to Lagos, and rendering all the eastern ports maribond, but God have used it against them. All that Apapa area is just toxic. Trailers everywhere, mean while data have shown 60% of imports goes to the East. Now they want to use barges and transport to the East. Soon they will be forced to expand so Ships can ship direct. na una go tire.

Just look at this fool with a myopic view. You ought to find your place in the animal kingdom where you truely belongs. You Igbo's should look inward, you're the enemies of yourselves. Yes, cosmetic and audio "working". You build a brand new standard Guage rail line from Lagos to Abuja. And all can think of the South East is a container dump site! How about a rail line linking Lagos with Ogun, Edo, Delta, Anambra, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States? Or from Sokoto through Kano, Kaduna up to Maiduguri? How about making other seaports in Sapele, Warri, Onne, Calabar etc work so as to ease the pressure on Lagos? Can't we think of any other railway blueprint besides that put in place by colonial masters for ferrying our resources to Europe? Can we imagine the economic effects of integrating movement of goods and services across the land beyond the "old colonial routes"? Why must I clear a container in Lagos and then carry it through 500 kilometers of dilapidated roads to Onitsha when there are nearby ports. Policy makers please think and reason now.

Is it not same hausa-fulani that has opened up the eastern ports? A coastal rail is of little importance in movement of cargo here. Once Onne, warri and onitsha ports are good, thats all

Ok,
but we must not copy everything from the west, why not develop a system whereby we can have special stations along the railway where we can have container depot specially for that purpose instead of going all the way east.
and what does it take of onitsha. Seaport serving onitsha business environs?.
Which rail line is currently linking ONitsha city?

If they can't, they should allow business men in the region to do it. I'm sure you know what we are capable of.. Good morning

don't forget the cost of dredging river niger alone is enough to build a sea port in coastal states.federal government would rather build a sea port in nigerdelta than south east...south east is almost landlocked

Yes, because the population of buyers are in the East, more than Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt combined. You need to drop what you are smoking before the thing itself drops you. where you ddon't expect.

Data have shown 60% of imports goes to the East.

It should be Lagos.

Buhari didn't effect anything. The maritime owners threatened to ditch Apapa entirely if the government doesn't decongest the port. So they have to look for alternatives, in this case using barges to ship to Onitsha.
